Re: Nissan GT-R

looks pretty sweet... this part caught my eye though..

Engine and Drivetrain:

- The engine designation is VR38DETT (Twin Turbocharged 3.8-liter V6)- The engine performance of the 3 trims is the same
- There is no Manual transmission option

Re: Nissan GT-R

How will Nissan do it? I guess things will change a year from now. They have the 350Z, the New Altima Coupe, and the new Infiniti G37.

GT-R starting at $67,000+ ? For that kind of money I would rather just buy a Corvette ZO6.

And $66K is hell of a lot of money for that car man !!! for 120 ponies more than a G37 which is like $35k !!! I wud go for the G37 or Z and add my own TT kit man !!!

Re: Nissan GT-R

it would suck if it's an INFINITI it would take away the whole persona of the car. the only thing going on for this car is the exclusivity of the name and it's brand. Skylines have so much respect in the scene so Nissan is trying to wing that to get crazy sales. Watch when toyota pulls out their guns and bring the supra successor, and Honda with their NSX successor. i can't wait!!!!

i also like the "i have a girlfriend but no *****" comment. LOLOL!!!

Re: Nissan GT-R

INFINITI people not infinitY hhehe just pulling ur leg!

neway back to the topic... Those additional prices for some of those colors is just in Japan. Thats the way it is in ASIA. but fortunately when these cars get on US soil, the price has already been spiked up so much that they cant charge extra for some stupid paint.

We North Americans dont like to pay extra for **** ! LOOK at BMW !!! They offer like 4 Exclusive colors for their cars... So far I havent seen one on the road .. never ever !
And I bet most people on the forums didnt even know about BMW offering that option ... or did they

Re: Nissan GT-R

for real with all of the nice *** cars like the G35, the G37, 350Z, and the Altima, Nissan isn't going to make as many sales on this car as they think they will, not to mention that if another Supra comes out and it keeps the price down, people will flock to that car so much faster then the GT-R, not to mention if theres another NSX

Thats I good point and I hear what you are saying but some of the highest performance cars in the world (Formula One) for example only have paddle shifters to change gears

yea but those are formula one because theyre goin so fast with the G's its hard to move their arm that much but for a commerial car thats supposed to be sporty there is NO reason to not sell it with a manual transmission
