Re: how do you ship a car
look online for a car transporter call and ask for a price. one thing to look for is a company that has their own trucks and not a broker they suck. When I got my car transprted from cali to arkansas the first company i was dealing with was a broker and 4 weeks later still no truck.

I'd just unbolt everything, then call fedex. Have them come pick up the pile, then put it back together on the other end.

^^ civics are HOT
hahahhah
Search on yahoo for DAS "dependable Auto shippers"
They are simply the best. i bought my car off ebay from Utah... and i got it here in florida in like 4 days ;-)

I live in south-eastern Ontario, we have snow for a good 4-5 months, but not TONS of it like Northern Ontario. I figure I'll just get it washed and cleaned a lot and DEFINITELY oil sprayed before and after. I hear you on the older vics
Way to go!

amazing winter car + shitty driver = car accident
bad winter car + good driver= no problems
Re: how do you ship a car
^^ not always the vehilce has a lot to with it.
anyways do some research for a reputable shipper if you want ti that badly. Can't find a civic you want in Canada?
Re: how do you ship a car
im woried that if i buy a car with more than 80,000 kilometres(40,000 miles) on it, its more likely to experience car problems
Re: how do you ship a car
Isn't this a civic forum? I could of sworn it was anyway, or a better question aren't civics made by Honda? What the hell do you mean?!?!?!? A honda, let alone a civic, expeirencing car problems at only 50,000 miles, I have never heard of such a thing. Buddy, civics run into the hundreds of thousands of miles, so long as it was properly maintained. My suggestion is that you find a civic up there in Canada, WITH maintainence records, and at that point mileage almost doesn't matter at all.

Uh buddy ^^^ Relax ... More than 90% of the members on these forums are here coz of the problems we have in our cars ... For Gods sake ... Its a Honda ... Not a car out of Transformers which is meant to work Perfect everyday for unlimited miles !
Re: how do you ship a car
All this trashing civics for winter driving. Pshhh!
if you throw a good set of studded winter tires on my car, it'll go anywhere a truck can, I even took it out ice fishing once. I live pretty damn far north, we get like 40-50 ft snow per year. I haven't got it stuck. plus it is fun to drive in the winter, it's handbraking season.
