k24 tranny question

If I buy a K24a1 that came out of car that was an automatic, it can be made into a manual correct? Is there a difference between the blocks on an auto and manual?

Re: k24 tranny question

Nope you are good, I would stick with a 6speed from a K20a2 or a 5speed from a K20a3 though. I think the 5speed from the Accord or the element and the 6speed from the tsx have different mounting points that Hasport does not make a motor mount kit for. And all of the newer trannys (K20z1 etc.) speedo sensor is a bitch to make work with the older cars.

Re: k24 tranny question

no difference. I would stick with the type s 6spd or 5sp ep3. I don't know but the tsx should fit with no problem.
