Do You Know What I Am Sick Of?
I was driving down from Temecula about half an hour ago, you know, doing the usuall 80-100 down the freeway...and I see these light comming up on me. So i pull over one lane...and this Nissan Pathfinder starts passing me. So I am a little bored, thinking i can take him, I put it into 4th....and off i go. I am kind of rambling here so I will make an already long story short...I am nailing it to the ground going 110-115(give or take)...and the Pathfinder still comes from behind and pulls away![IMG]i/expressions/face-icon-small-mad.gif[/IMG] .....If only we didn't have the damn speed limiter we could at least smoke some worthy cars on the freeway. I hate getting lauphed at[IMG]i/expressions/face-icon-small-frown.gif[/IMG]

Rep Power: 0 What? Speed limiter... I am not sure about that, I regularly take my EX up to 125 easy, my top speed in the car is 145 or so so far at 6700 rpm, going down hill with the wind and what not, so I don't know about you but, my car doesn't seem to have a speed limiter... are you sure???

I have driven on long straight *** roads down hill with crazy wind...and my manual trany car would only go 180km/h which is about 121mph Like stop trying to make yourself look cool junior cuz this place is full of 7th gen owners...so not much gets by us...ok....The limiter or govenor on the car will not let you get past that....unless you did something to your cpu....so stfu with your crap....[IMG]i/expressions/face-icon-small-mad.gif[/IMG]

Rep Power: 0 Yeah same here, I could only get it up to 180 km/h give or take a few cause I was going down a hill, but that was it, she had no more, so if you do the math it cant be done, 145 mph,

Rep Power: 0 Here in the states the DX is governed at 115 mph and the EX from what I can find is governed at 145. A governer is put on a car in realtion to the tires that come factory on the car. If you purchase a car like the Toyota Celica GT-S there is no governer because they come out of the factory with some bad a$$ tires, that are Z rated. I still have yet to find those tires here in the states. Sorry random tangent. Regardless your car is governed and yes it does suck.

Rep Power: 0 i have EX model and my friend has DX so funny when we race, ill just wait for him to hit 110-115 and u can just see the car stop lol. Ive hit 135 easy in my EX, dunno bout the 145...never tried but i KNOW ive hit 135

how fast, what model? From what I've heard from honda techs and regular joe's, the EX's do not have governors. You could have just been hitting whats known as "the wall"

not that I've ever went that fast, but I think its like 140 on the speedo is 6800rpm/redline, so 135 is dammmm close
