Wanna See my Teg?

Wat up guys, my names Josh, I’ve been around the site for a long time and recently I stoped being lazy, had some more time and figured it was about time I posted a pic of my ride. Back when I joined I had a 2001 sivler dx with rims, intake, exhaust and short shifter.

Over the last 2 years I kinda upgraded. I bought my integra about two years ago with little knowledge of how to turbo N.A. cars and I payed for it.
Heres the specs for the Integ.
- Iron sleeved Ls Block, B16a port and polished head, STR intake manifold, JE Pistons 8.5.1, stainless valves, Web turbo cams, STR cam gears, Holly high volume fuel pump, crower rods, 550 cc Rc injectors, Greddy oil cooler, Turbonetics T3/T4 turbo, Greddy Intercooler, HKS wastegate, Greddy type R blow off valve, MP Racing turbo mani, 3 inch down pipe, 3 inch test pipe, 3 inch Thermal catback exhaust, Clutch Master stage IV clutch, Greddy boost nd oil gauges, Apex AVCR Boost controller, Electromotive Tec II, Greddy Turbo timer, New Speed Short shifter, Wings West 3pc. spoiler, clear corner lenses, Razo pedals, 18 inch Racing hart C5 Evo's wrapped in 215/35 ZR18 toyo proxies, Tokico 5 way adjustables, Eibach Sport springs, AEM big brake upgrade kit, Front upper/rear upper and lower Gab Tie bars, Lateral support bar, rear lower DC tie bar.
Other mods and replacements
-SDS Em4 EMS, custom timing belt cover, custom intake piping, Innovate LM-1 LC-1 wideband controller XD-16 universal gauge and DL-32 data logger, 18 inch ASA AR-1's, turbo XS bv, turbo XS manual boost controller, borla muffler, log turbo manifold and some piping.

What do ya think? Ny comments suggestions?
My camera's real shitty its hard to get decent pics of the entire car. Base tune of the car put out around 150 whp and about 150 wtq at 7 psi. This is with very conservative fuel values and also the timing values were untouched cause I ran outta money on the dyno. Its going back to the dyno on thursday so hopefully Ill drive outta there with at least 300 whp. I can't wait till thursday! Ill post up the numbers asap.

Re: Wanna See my Teg?

with a fully built ls/vtec you should be able to put down a lot larger numbers than that. I also own a 96 teg and am building an ls motor almost like yours. but my goal is 550-600whp. you just need more fuel and a larger turbo to get there. you should easily be able to put down 350-400whp although i would go for a larger set of injectors before you try for those numbers.

Re: Wanna See my Teg?

THanks guys. Right now im just going for reliability. Im runnin low on cash and I cant afford to do any damage. Plus I have an oil leak from the head near the v-tec solenoid that runs down the block and onto the tranny. The leaks very slow, but my clutch has been slipping (only a few 1000 miles on it) and I'm wondering if some oil got in the tranny. To top it off I got a bad ground somewhere. Hopefully on thursday I can get it all figured out and but up sum bad *** numbers

Re: Wanna See my Teg?

the leaks that you are having are probably the vtec seal(where the vtec solenoid mounts to the head...or the distributor seal check those first we had a civic with that same type of oil leak recently and the gaskets(seals) were badd. nice teg by the way..

Re: Wanna See my Teg?

Thanks for the tip. I didnt even think of the distributor seal. I should get the valve cover repainted, but im foucusing more on power than looks. Any body familiar with SDS? I'm still kinda new too tuning and am having a lil trouble fine tuning my manifold press. values. Let me kno and Il post up some o my questions.

Re: Wanna See my Teg?

Well as usuall, car could not be tuned today. We r pritty sure the oil leak is from the cam seal, which isnt a bad fix, but a lose bolt on the farmost left stud of my exhaust mani has caused the **** to warp. So there wasnt a ground issue just an exhaust mani leak that fudged up my AFR values. The leak caused my gauge to read lean when it was not and the computer kept dumping fuel in to correct wat it thought to be a lean condition(=super bad gas mileage). Now I gotta take the manifold off and sand it down yay

Damn josh, yeah, just get all that stuff fixed and sorted out before you go to tune it. Make sure you have all the problems taken care of.
