Ls7 Fd

The car gained only 28lbs from the swap. My car has some oversteer but it is a very neutral car. With the ls swap the car is now 50/50 weight balance.

you must mean other LSx swaps because an LS7 swap is HARDLY cheap OR common. a k swap or turbod civic is played out yet when people post pics, we are all like OHH DAM NICE SWAP, man i wish i had that, GJ on the swap, etc.

the swap is just not as badass as it once was. now i saw a 383 stroker in a crx at the drag strip last season. thats a badass swap. just get tired of seeing the same old swaps in the same old cars.
What?
Played out, are you kidding me? You are played out. The swap is bad *** no matter how often this is done. And this swap is still rare even if the LSX swap is not.Unless of course,....you had this swap on your car and you are sick of the car and that much power, then you can say it is played out and I'll give you props.
nice swap, but a still love the sound of a bridge-ported rotary at 9k....
i've seen a couple fds with an LSx swap in action, and they can be just as fast if not more so than some of the higher-end racecars...plus, as he said, with the 50/50 weight distro and the gain of only 30 lbs, i think the extra power and reliability are well worth it. plus it's easier to find chevy parts in a pinch

I bet most of the guys talking bad about rotaries don't even know the first thing about rotaries...only what they've been told.
And for the record...LS7 in FD is played out. It's been done over and over again. Nothing we haven't seen before. Besides...you buy a rotary for a reason...and that reason doesn't involve pistons.
