will an SI dash fit in our regular civics?
just like the title says, will an SI dash fit in our regular 7th gen civics? i kinda like the look of the dash, but i decided not to get the SI version because i didnt want a hatchback. im just wondering if they will swap out or not? any ideas?

instrument cluster is a slightly different shape...
as far as the whole thing, i doubt it. the shifter is a part of the dashboard, as opposed to being down below.
SO I WOULD SAY NO. (I LIKE IT TOO BTW!)

im talking about the entire dash. as far as the shifter goes, i have an automatic since it was much nicer than any other used manual civics that i saw when i bought my car. i dont think that the shifter clearance would be much of a problem. if the dash would fit, then i would probably put a center channel speaker in there or maybe even mold something else in its place. i just want to know if it going to fit before i buy the parts to do it.

if you want to attempt it, the guy im selling parts for has an ep3 dash. i want the seats, but he wont part it out until i have enough parts sold to cover the money he has in it. he sold the k20, tranny, and ecu and that paid for part of it. hes got about 1500-2000 left to get out of it. i was gonna jack the rear suspension but its a 5 lug. im guessing a later model?

its the same ****. youre gonna have to do some trickery around the shifter/cup holder area to make the stuff youre going to keep and the new stuff meet without ending up being a big ole mess.
well i did a photochop of the pictures posted earlier. first interior chop that i have seen. it might look better if the picture was an auto, but heres just a real quick chop of what you can expect. o and also, the pictures almost matched up perfectly, not saying that in real life it would though.

also, if it DOES just bolt up, then it wont take very long at all. and from the pics, it very well looks like it may be that way.
