Could use a little clutch info
About how many miles can you get out of the stock clutch if you drive it normally? I have about 70k miles on my '01 EX. The clutch only needs to be pressed in about 1/4 of the way to change gears etc. (I also lost my Honda manual gg me)
Thanks for the help

It has more to do with where it catches on the way back up from the floor, if you push it down. I think a lot of us could probably push our clutches down only part way and still be able to shift. It doesn't mean the clutch is bad, it's just bad for the transmission. When it starts slipping, it's bad. Until then, if you're not in a hurry to spend $500 give or take, be nice to the car.

If u press the clutch to the floor every time, your going to get a lot more outta it, if ur doing lazy shifts, or resting ur foot on the clutch in traffic instead of the dead pedal, then your going to loose ur clutch a lot quicker. Basicaly pretend its like hot coals or something, you dont wanna stay on it too long or it'll burn. Sounds like a lame metaphore at 4am, but whatever- u get the picture.
