Got Pulled While Test Driving an RSX
I took my wife up to the Acura dealer because she wanted to know what all the hype about the RSX S-type was for. We went and took the car for a test drive and the dealer had me go down these really curvy roads. A cop got me right as I was turning a corner. I saw him turn around so I just pulled over and waited for him. He said he got me at 45 in a 25. I was actualy going closer to 80. He asked me for the little slip saying that I am test driving it and the dealer didn't have any of his info. He was spazing. The cop let me off with a warning (thank god) that said "this is a fast car, if you are gonna buy it be careful and go slow." All I could think was, 200hp slow? That's funny... I think a cop shouldn't ticket people for test driving a fast car if they don't cause any harm around others. That's my opinion... I only got it up to 95 and the car was amazingly quiet. So sadboy, how fast do you have to go in 6th gear to make the engine go BAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA? Compared to the GS-R... lol, all you need is 4,500 RPMs.

Well, in that case...Why is it only limited to people only *test driving*, it should be people who are driving a fast car.
No difference in test driving fast and not causing harm and driving fast and not causing harm.
That would seriously be the greatest unwritten law ever.!

Nice story. I wish we had an Acura dealer up here in Duluth, so i could take one of those for a drive. I actaully talked to my salesperson one day, and I suggested that they bring them up here. He said there isnt the demand for them. I see a lot of them drving around here. Our town kind of sucks for dealerships. There is only one Honda up here. There are no luxury car compaines up here. Time to move to a bigger city.

LOL, my friend just got a 94 Supra non turbo with 100k miles on it, only freeway driven. He got pulled while testing the car on an open road where there were straights, and he told the cop he was test driving the car and the cop gave him the okay and the cop just stayed parked and watch the Supra zoom past it back n forth... he was watching in awe.
