Stolen =(

Well, it finally happened.... and right in front of my house too. My car was broken into last night. They took a Sony headunit, my 2- 12" Kicker Comp VR's and 1000 watt Lanzar Vibe amp. They also ripped off the door panels and took my pioneer speakers from the doors and rear deck.
In all, it totals roughly $550..... which is what I payed, not MSRP.
The only thing the guy left was a black glove where the dash was all ripped out. This is a really downer of a day

well if i were you...i'd ivest in an alarm and CCW if you don't have them already...car thieves will get a little more scared when more of them are on the way to the hospitol instead of to their garage to strip your car...cheap insurance imo

Yeah, see I never really did bump it around.... Car alarm... erh...
Here is the new development... So a week or so ago the car was in the shop to get tires rotated and brakes checked, and it was a small local shop. Well, I only have one set of keys besides the ones at home that sit in a basket all the time..... The car was not BUSTED into, it simply had all these things removed. The local police will be investigating into weather or not some local yokel at the shop copied the key while it was there, and then came over and broke into the car a week later.....
We shall see

what about the imobolizer in the keys? Or is that just for the ignition? hmm, damn man. We'll help u kick their ***, dont worry!!

Hopefully you'll get hooked up again and insurance wont screw you too much. You have documentation of the components being in your car correct?

Good luck!
