is it going to be worth it
is it going to be worth it
ok i have 01 dx running sf turbo kit from mount fmu full exhaust i need a better clutch ( still stock) external fuel pump and im running 14.2 on stock clutch and thats the next thing to get replaced basicly i want more boost but i see that the lowest time even at like 16 psi are still high 13's what can i do to get to the 13.5 area
Anything is possible if you work for your goals. May cost a lot, but i'm sure you could reach it. Is it gonna be worth it? Moneywise - probably not. Would be more cost effective to do a swap + mods to reach those numbers.
But much respect if you can hit that time on a D17.

Talk to Andyman, Supermex, or Michalo187. These guys have experience running high boost. Andyman has ran a 13.6 I believe with his former setup. Basically traction will be your biggest obstacle if you want those times. Anything can be built just look at Supermex and Andyman is approaching the 300whp mark.

well, it doesnt affect the horse-power, but putting different springs, tires/rims, and lowering your car will really give you more acceleration, because the springs wont bend as much, and lets you access more of the power.
