CAI question

Since I put on my CAI about a month ago its been pretty dang cold here (for us at least) so I'm talking 20-50 degrees most of the time. Today it decided to warm up, i guess its about 70 outside. Should I hear a difference in the sound of my intake going from 40 degree weather to 70 degree weather? My intake today sounds a little higher pitched for some reason, maybe because its getting hotter air, i dont know. However, I didn't see a big change in performance at all. Any ideas?

i think u also might get a different sound from the different moisture levels in the air.

It's pretty warm here in Charlotte today as well. I get a very noticeable hissing sound and can tell a difference in performance for sure. Also, the engine seemed to bog and hesitate for the first 15 minutes of driving.
