Seriously,. I haven't seen any of the other posts about it yet,. search for what? I thought it was funny. He's not asking a question and I'm sure not every member of the board has seen it. Heh you people and your b!tch sessions about searching get out of hand sometimes.

thats kinda cool that other companys are using something similar to VTEC , but that guy is seriously ripping people off, and the funny thing is that I only found one bad thing in his feedback, he must be selling this stuff to retards.
<< I hate to burst your buble but the vvti is the same as vtec, and the vortec 4200 also has variable valve timing....
so yes, chevys, oldsmobiles, and toyotas have vtec.... >>
umm...they don't have VTEC dude. they have their own version of the technology. The only cars that have VTEC are Honda's and Acura's.
As a trademark, yes, only H/A have the term VTEC. But if you want to break down the acronymn, Valve Timing Electronic Control or something like that, VVT is basically the same thing. Actually, Toyota's VVT is far more advanced and productive than VTEC which is highly overated anyway.
People look at VTEC like it is some kind of godsend. At best it doesn't net more than about 20% of what the engine is capable of anyway. It's no turbo.

Um, VTEC is pretty much the best or one of the best at vavle timing, etc. VVTi does not compare to VTEC. A car with VTEC gets some serious power in that race cam, and the low cam lobes help at WOT, but also keep fuel economy good. VTEC is not just to go vroom. It's whole intent is to give a car some high end power, a bit more low end power, but be economic when not accelerating quickly.... So even if VTEC isnt the best, it's still better than anything GM and toyota have.
