Kinda got little creative...
Today after washing my car i waz looking under the hood..I really hate how big our airboxes are in our civic
So i got thinking...i took off one part of the air box and left the oval shape that is connnect to the engine on..I really like it cuz it sound like u have a regular intake..but only bad thing is that hot air gets in so i might jus add a pipe down to get cold air...THIS IS A TEMPARY until i get enough cash to get my cold air intake..Im only 17 and 17year olds dont get lots of $$$ so money is tough...and plz dont talk ish saying rice and stuff..thanxs..has anyone else did this?
Looks like your trying to suck up water. That has to be the dumbest thing i have ever seen.

<< Add a pipe like this:
>>I saw a car like this today out where I live in El Cajon. A Baby Blue Accord with the works (IMO: its ugly as hell) with the plate GOT 19Z. Must refer to those HUGE *** KONIG TANTRUMS that were on it. Had a body kit on it & the wheels were turned in & I could see the CAI hanging in front of the Wheel...

Isn't there a con if you take out the intake resonator? I forgot, I think I myte have read it somewhere in the threads, but too lazy to look.

No adverse affects. It just simply removes a lot of the restriction in the stock intake system. Wouldn't surprise in the least if it produced half the hp we see with aftermarket intakes.
