Now I know why people commit murder ...
Here is my 1 month old Civic thanks to a local redneck and his beatup old $1500 pickup truck. He shot across two lanes of traffic and slammed me as I was stopping at the light. Needless to say he was at fault ... but that doesn't make me feel any better. I was just about to put a new Magnaflow catback on this weekend. Now I just want to get it fixed and out of my sight ... permanently
I hope this doesn't happen to anyone else.

I don't know what the total damage is yet (the pictures don't show most of it). I suspect there may be mechanical damage to the axle, steering rack and maybe the transmission?? I'm pissed. This jerk didn't even apologize and his sister was laughing. If the cop wasn't there ...they would have been painting an outline on the concrete ... of his body
i hate all the f***ing ignorant drivers out there on the road, i'm sorry about your car bro, that really sucks. like everybody said though, aftermarket bumper sounds good (wings west avenger??) and maybe new projectors...
Looks like it's in the impound lot. If something like that happened to me, things would get heated for me too...especially if his **** hick *** was laughing...
So you're getting rid of the car?

Yeah, I am kinda weird about my cars in that sense. Once they've been violated like this, I just can't deal with keeping it. No matter how well they fix it, it will never be the same for me
It's sitting in the Police impound yard tonight, until we decide on a quality shop to do the repairs. His insurance is paying for every scratch on that damn car. The towing company F***** up the front lip and scratched the hell out of the trunk. Add it to the bill ...
Sorry for the temper tantrum gents ... I'm just tired of inconsiderated people.

I'm not sure ... it depends on what the insurance does with it. I love the car, but based on how difficult it is to squeeze any power out of these new Civics, I may get something else. Not sure yet.

that sucks dude. I have almost identical damage on my car, but yours looks a little worse, but yea, new bumper, new fender, new passenger side headlight, remounted hood, frame pulling, and allignment for me.
That looks almost exactly like my car did 3 mos. ago when I was parked in my friends driveway and his mom was in a helluva hurry to get to work-backed straight into my car.....fixed now tho.
