My dilemma
My Grandfather just gave me a 1989 f150 that's in mint condition. 58000 miles, tranny has 2500 miles, all brand new monro shocks, no body damage\rust, all belts\hoses\plugs\wires\filters, etc. were replaced every2 years (or sooner if needed), interior is perfect, never smoked in, garaged it's whole life and it runs like it's off the show room floor. My problem is now I have 2 babies...which to I fix up? I've wanted this truck since my g-pa bought it in December of '88 and now I have it. Civic is obviously my dd, but I still want to give it some loving...but the truck is soooooo much easier to work on than the vic, I don't have sensors to make sure that the sensors don't go out, I actually have room for an arm in the engine bay and oh yea BOLT ONS DO SOMETHING! So what should I do? beef up the truck or vic?

i waan keep the vic cuz it's my first car, it's got the system where my truck just has a alpine 9852, it's just got a lot of sentimental value, plus i wanna try and keep the mileage down on the truck...o yea, 35mpg is much much better than 15mpg when i drive 20 miles to work everyday.

i was going to but my grandpa told me to turn it into the truck I would love to drive, not the truck he did...plus i already put a bush guard on it, fog lights, modified the intake, and put a deck into it...

dear god no. would you lift your vic? no. then y lower a truck. not to mention a lowered f150 would look like George Bush on Honor Roll. especially an 89. this is somewhat close to what i'm going to do:
I'd say keep the vic a daily driver, its good on gas, but don't put anymore money into the vic. Put your money into your truck as a hobby/toy, lift etc... just my opinion, well thats what I would do.
