No offense but just b/c alot of people have g35's doesnt mean u shouldnt get one. If you mod the G it will stand out even more. Face it, if the cars are good people will buy them. The only reason more people dont have s2000's is b/c they are impractical.

Rep Power: 263 G35's are more classy. I'd prefer that over the s2000. I'm 24 years old though... kids would probably want the an s2000. Depends what you're going for... both cars are good.
I agree with that... S2000's are roadsters, not really everyday cars. If you have something more practical, s2000's nice to have as a weekend car. Plus infiniti>honda.

right now im 100% comitted to selling my car, i need to have my father do a lil body work and paint the lip kit, then im going to take out the turbo and performance parts (selling on here), and i will list my car online. so if you dont see me posting about a new car its cus i have to wait to paint my car and to find a buyer, and i have a month vacation to italy on the 14th of august.
i WONT buy anything in the class of the civic, that would be pointless and id have to redo all my modding for me to like it. and downgrade isnt an option here, the whole point is that i feel like i deserve and want something nicer.
edit: this civic is the longest ive owned a car at 1.5 years. and ive had a couple before it, so im not too sentimental that i couldnt let it go or nothing.
well im 20 on saturday, so i dont think im too old for something non luxurious, but i dont want to buy something that ill grow out of in a year and want something more luxurious and flashy or faster. so im looking to buy something ill still like in a couple years.
a buddy of mine with a nasty z said pushing more than 400whp on that motor is asking for trouble. and supposedly the computer doesnt respond well to minor mods kinda like the s2k.....so that blows. but either way im not looking for a insane speed demon, when i get back from my trip im applying for a new job and if i get it ill prob get a crappy old camaro or mustang to build over the years for speed.

armeio, i agree...that is annoying, but im not just saying im going to, i truly want to. actually i made a thread a lil while ago claiming i wanted to spend 50k on a car like a old ferrari 348 or lotus or something, i planned on getting a new job, then due to the schedule of my gf my vacation got bumped up to august and the oppurtunity for a new job has to wait till i get back, so did i make that thread in vain? no, just sometimes things change quick and people dont see it so they are quick to point fingers.

Rep Power: 285 yea, for the money to stand alone tune it i wouldnt jsut do bolt-ons. plus then i cant get my sticker cus they scan your computer so the car will only be legal for 12 months.
ive heard the damn g35 computers are "too smart" and dont respond that well either but im sure its better than the s2k.
anyway, i think im getting a black 350z, a couple grand cheaper and more available in standard tranny (i found ZERO my last search for g35's) and i saw one in person again the other day, just sexy.

but as of now im not getting one right away. in a couple weeks im going to italy for 17 days then when i get back im gonna get a new better paying job if my father doesnt need me to help him out anymore, once i get back ill buy the z (wether i get the job or not actually).
then with the civic not as my daily anymore it will give me a chance to store it and work on it to make it look good before i sell it. all my turbo stuff (over 5k worth) is coming off and being listed on here as a package deal for like 3500-4k maybe??? only used 2k miles till i found i need a Z lol

Are you planning on modding this car very much? If so I would not suggest getting a 350Z or G35 unlesss you are loaded. To satisfy the aftermarket need on these cars you better have at least 20-30k stashed away 
I might get a 350Z also, but im second guessing it because the civic has come to far to quit. Id do some more research if i was you bro.

Rep Power: 285 any problems id have fixed free by the dealer or do it myself, im a mechanic and my dad owns the shop.
as for going from s2k vs g35 to wanting a z.....i still want a g35, i just cant find any more that are what i want at the price i want, and i cant decide between the g and z now lol. if the g has a good auto tranny i might go for the auto and call it a day.
oh yeah, as for mods.... immediately my only plans are
rims, body kit*, mild system, maybe 2tone paint, intake/exhaust.
*i dont normally like body kits AT ALL, but i really like the ken style body kit for the g35's. the z would get lip kit.
and im normally more performance oriented but these are kinda quick already so ill enjoy that for a while til i need more fast.
