personally i think the Evo VII is the $hit...350 hps from a 4 cylinder...is crazy...of course its turbo charged but i think this is the best 4 cylinder car... and how many WRC championships did they win.. I lost count EVo's are so good..

Rep Power: 0 best car youre going to drive in the states right now....Sentra SE-R Spec-V hands down. Engine is great, but its the handling of it that makes it by far the best car out there right now, and only $18k, I only wished I had waited 8 more months to buy a car...

Rep Power: 377 01civic911... he's talking about engine, not the handling of the car. Even so, the F20C in the S2000 is my vote. obviously. and it will outhandle the Spec V.
240hp. 9,000rpm redline. 0-60 5.2 -- 1/4 mile 13.6@101. push button start. oh yeah... naturally aspirated.... need I say more??

Those are my top 7!
Throw the B20VTEC, and the LS/VTEC in there too!

bottom line: s2000 $32k, SE-R $18k. When factoring the best price to own is a very high factor. Give the extra $14k to add on to the SE-R when add-ons are released, and your stock s2000 will be sitting on the line. I mean abviously someone that owns an s2000 is going to defend saying its the best, but the bottom line is price factor hands down gives it an egde

Rep Power: 0 I should say Suzuki GSX-R4 concept car, it's powered by a GSX-R1000 engine ...pumping out 144 wheelhp out of a 988cc engine, that's what I call a high specific output

Rep Power: 0 First of all I think that the S2000 has the best I4...The Evo has 280 bhp not 350...Supras only come in I6s even the old ones. The S2000 has the mose hp/liter of anycar and it doesn't have a turbo.

Rep Power: 0 oh u forgot to add that the s2000 motor is HUGE!!!!!
and expensive with all that money just buying a s2000 ive rather have a vw 1.8T hehehe
also if the 4 banger comes out of the factory with a turbo dont u think its way better there is no need to upgrade the internals since its already made to accept a turbo while....the s2000 u gotta upgrade the internals and u just cant throw a turbo into it without doing some work to it. u gotta look at it that way. hahahaha
and s2000 engines have compression so u would be running LOW boost just like that.

Rep Power: 0 Well, I considered the golf 1.8t before buying my civ. After several weeks of researching the car and talking to many, many owners, I couldn't call anything made by VW the "best" in my wildest imagination. In fact, that's quite funny!
Oh, and torque is nice, but there isn't anything like bringing a gsr to redline rowing the gears.

Rep Power: 0 Fu(k the VW 1.8T. Why ? Because it's VW. I don't even like their logo.
The sound of the S2000 and the kick of going all the way to 9000rpm wins for me.

I think fourkilos was referring to the gold Top Secret Supra which had the 4 banger turbo MR2 engine in it. From what I can remember, the hp rating was more in the 700's and not 900. Even so, that's a lot for a 4 banger and it was able to reach a top speed of 200 mph.
