Correct me if I'm wrong, but can't the Bugatti Veyron and the Saleen S7 both top 250mph? Or is that just theoretical?

I've read ~248 for the Saleen S7 twin turbo, and ~253 for the veyron, but I have never seen any proof of either number.

Yep. That's the one. 1001 psp, or metric HP. Comes out to around 970ish, i think?

But I'm pretty sure both can beat out the Koenigsigg. I was wrong once before.

That was the old record holder. The Veyron is the fastest now. Motor Trend or Car and Driver (I forget which) got it up to 252. The Veyron can beat a F1 car in a straight drag race but loses to it in the corners.
