am tired of all the problems my 7th gen has prduced
i am so tired of all the problems my 7th gen civic has produced in the past six months i mean yeah i got in to an accident but they had supposedly fixed the damn thing good as new but they didn't now i have a car with a bent chasis and leaks water in to my trunk and the motor mounts are broken and my insureance doesn't want to fix anything else with the car they say its good enough but honda doesn't think so and when the throtle positioning screw came loose and made my car idle high honda had the odassity to say that it was part of the accident and that they wouldn't fix it so i had to do it my self. i am seriously thinking about getting rid of it in favor for a subaru wrx or a new rsx-type-s and droping a j-spec type-r engine in to it sorry just had to blow off some steam if any one has any ideas on how to get my car fixed under the same claim email me or leave a post

Well I speak for most of us here... my civic has given me very few problems, but there's always some lemons made no matter what kind of car you buy. Just bad luck on picking that one off the lot If you do get a new car, the turbo WRX is an amazing car with lots of modding potential. RSX-s is nice too...
BTW, I'm guessing you race here in orlando. Where do you go, to the super wal-mart on sand lake/john young? We're having a big meet up in daytona for the spring break car show, you're welcome to come. See the thread in south forum

yeah i race every now and then usually on rocket or at the superwalmart but its been too long since then. I'm gonna try to make the daytona event hopefully i won't be working.
and 2001 the type r engine i can get for 3,500 and the repairs are estimated at 7,000 so i can just use the insurace money if they call it a total loss and buy a new car and either mod it or get the engine and a type r engine won't bolt in to a 7th gen with a bent chasis

After an accident, your car will never be the same again no matter how well they fixed it.
So it's not really Honda factory problems you're having, but "fixed-up-after-an-accident" problems, right?

All cars have there problems, thankfully both of my Civics haven't given me any.
