sorry but i love mine...i know its slow but i like everything about it!

I bought a new 05 Si-G last year. I put the normal bolt ons on the car and all it did was make a sh1tty noise.lol I've lost complete interest in the car. Don't see the point spending $5000.00 - $10000.00 for a turbo or swap to still be slow. I don't know what to get so i'll keep it until I find another car I like. The only thing I can say is it gets good gas mileage. But a pretty boring car overall.I have my GXP and my SS so there is no rush.

Beat most other slow cars.lol

its cool they are fun to mod and they can be sick if you know what ur doing so it can be enjoyable, and i guarantee that no mini van would beat me

Well, I don't hate it enough to consider selling it, but if I could go back one year with the knowledge I have today, I probably wouldn't have bought it

the guy is definitely entitled to his opinion. however, i love my vic. she is my girlfriend on the side.

eh, when you bought the car you should have known. there are ways to fix the slow.
handling can be modded. all your complaints can be modded.
the car is clean even when stock its just nice to look at. a little here and there and it would look really nice. if you hate it get rid of it, but don't expect a website about the damn car to agree with you. thats dumb

i hate my civic after i drove my sis's tC . However a civic still the best for me since im just a poor student so I love my vic anyway!

Horrible handling? handling is one of the good points of the civic

i dont like my civic either, but not for those reasons. i guess im just not a car guy. i had three trucks before, and much rather trucks.

reasons i dont like mines:

its a car
cant but my bike in it
feel like a bitch when driving it

people who complain are those who think that an intake will make your car fast. the car has potential, it just doesnt come cheap. same can be said with any other generation civic.

edit: they are generally those who made the mistake of purchasing an auto tranny as well.

So all the points about the car you can learn by just looking at it and reading reviews, are the points you hate about it.
That surprises me, since I dont know anyone who expects a civic to be quick or have nice interior.

Also handling is very good.... once you get nice tires on the car. They really hold it back a lot.

Even though its slow its still able to hit 40mpg.

Now I love my civic cause its sporty (thanks toyo), gets amazing gas mileage, is super easy to drive, and is a great platform to mod. Everything and anything is easy to change.

The civic is a TUNER car. Unless you do some major work, and tuning, don't expect it to be great.
You guys just miss the whole concept of what the civic is. An intake, or exhaust, won't make your civic faster (despite what your "boy" said). Lowering your car doesnt mean you should bounce everywhere (again, your "boy" is an ***). Wings on FWD cars... kill yourself and anyone complimenting it.

Get past the ricer dilusions and its a great car.
