Finally - an open air RSX!
Check out this fine piece of engineering!
It is quite saddending...
52 Miles?!?!?!?
Whoever owned this car did NOT deserve to drive it...luckily its spirit (the K20A2) will live on.

how much did that guy pay for the RSX-S Motor and tranny? for only 4 grand I'd take it if this was in a month. haha, no cash now thou. I'd use the engine, and install the discs. maybe the suspension if it all worked.
damn...way to enjoy that new car...
the surprising lack of blood splattered all over the interior is always a good sign, too...
well, unless the guy was a moron and got to play human rocket 'cause he wasn't wearing a seatbelt...

Hey,
Now, I don't know the exact circumstances of the accident...but it shows before you drive a fast car, make sure you can *handle* it or your car might end up looking like that.

I'd buy that motor if it wasn't in New York. I live in California and don't know what I'd do about getting it here. Oh well. Hopefully someone will have a nice new motor to enjoy. Sucks for whoever was driving that though. Hope they're ok.
<< Looks like the car was rolled and they had to cut off the roof with the jaws of life. >>
That's what I was about to say . Judging by the way the side is crumpled I'd guess that's exactly what happened.
You know, it could not be the drivers fault. I know of this girl that bought a brand new crivic (I think I heard it from here, I dunno) and on the way home from the dealership she was hit by a drunk driver

that royally sucks. i also wouldnt doubt if this guy was wacked by a drunk driver. lil off topic but runs along these same lines. guy i know that lives in my town buys an s2000, next day driving home from work, gets hit by a drunk driver, in a coma for 3 months. all in all, horrible situation. and as the majority of the time happens, the durnk driver walked away with a broken arm. Even after it's all banged up, it STILL looks sweeeeet....
But I still feel bad for the owner, I mean, smashing it right after he got it from the dealership...now that's a real kick in the pants...

Since the jaws of life were used, there's a good chance the person inside was alive such that they'd need to cut them out.
<< how did the air bags stay intact after a crash like that? >>
If the front airbag sensors weren't triggered, then the airbags won't go off. If the car got sideways and rolled over, as i suggested earlier, the airbag sensors on the front wouldn't get triggered.
I wouldn't want that engine, if the car rolled with the engine running there could be untold amounts of damage as engines aren't meant to run upside down.

notice someone yanked the shifter **** already...
Ahh, and what looks like a half pack of smokes on the driver side...
I'll take the gagues and the engine would be nice too...
Arg!!! Crashed it on the drive home from the dealer! If that doesn't kill the new car smell, I don't know what will.

52 miles isn't a lot for only having just bought it that day.... didnt the ad only say he wrecked it the same day he bought it? the day i bought my car, i put 120 miles on it. so 52 is nothing abnormal...

well even if there was blood, common sense would be that it was cleaned up before pictures were taken
