Forget Blue Book. What Do You Think Yours Is Worth???
We all know about blue book value. We trade our cars in or sell them but get way less than what we put in. What is your value? Ideally what do you think your car should sell for? What do you think all your hard work and mods has made to your car value? What if the car didnt depreciate?
IMO i think my car is worth at least $15000.00
What about you?

I think mine is worth a lot especially with the k20a type r motor and a bunch of other stuff in an 05 coupe, but who knows.. I cant even say what mine is worth, cuz if I say something.. someone on here will say "what do u have" or "its not worth that much" sorry i had to vent.. I would say about 25k. You guys can add your opinions though.
I like what simlicated1979 did.. so i am gonna do the same:
05 civic ex coupe
36000 miles
k20a type r motor $5600
toda race header $1290
Greddy evo 2 exhaust $500
tein ss coilovers $1300
axis mag-lite rims w/tires $1050
HFP lip kit $1200
and then lil stuff to make the car look better $3k
so yeah I would say my car is probably worth a lot more than 25k

since I got my car i've only driven about 5000 miles per yr. It's really the miles u put on it that depreciates it. more miles more turbulance ur car goes through. ok ok back on topic...
02 civic
50,000 miles
tints $140.00
rims/tires $1200.00
neuspeed strut $150.00
ICE: kenwood $400.00, amp $300.00, woofer $300.00
alarm system: $500.00
wings west spoiler: $400.00 that's including paint and installation.
greddy evo 2: jebus i payed god damn near $600 papers for this when it came out...got it installed by honda for $79 bucks. it was winter time when i got it and no way i was going outside in 10 degree weather.
dang that's almost 4 grand I put in my car excluding installation for some of the other stuff..ok i'm gonna stop now before i start crying...
don't give me wrong it was well worth it though...well damn worth it and I'd dong it again without thinking twice...so yeah i'd say my ride is worth 14grand

Value = "What someone would pay for it". I maybe could get 8k for my car in stock form just because i maintain it really well - i dont think its worth **** so Imma keep driving it till it ***** out on me
well before i did my k-swap, i went to honda and they told me i could get 13,500 for my car, cuz its an 05, but the miles killed me.. acura quoted me 13,500, mitsubishi quoted me only 12k and dodge was the worse quoting me at 10k. so it also depends on the year and miles.
