Any differences between 2k1 2k2 body?
Howdy all. Just wondering if there are any differences between the 2k1 and 2k2 bodies? Coupes in particular. How about same year vs. different countries?

Rep Power: 0 I know the style is the same. Just wondering if all the measurements are the same. I've looked at some pictures from the same angle and the bumper seems to stick out more in some. They were supposedly stock.

Rep Power: 0 there arent many differences at all from 1 to 2. i drive a 02 EX coupe. and i know the cupholders are different..and the area where the 12v plug is different, the 2k1 only has 1 extra spot we have 2. and i think the gauges might be a little different...i couldnt really tell ya much more?

Yeah my coupe has a license plate holder in the front and I have a 2k1. No they are almost the same except for stiffer suspension on the 2k2's, the cup holder thing, and the light green interior lighting instead of the orange.

[IMG]i/expressions/laugh2.gif[/IMG] the lights are orange, and yes, i would know. i OWN a 2002 civic...sorry bud but whoever told you that is a dumbass..the only lights that are green are the ones from my pioneer headunit and the "blinker" lights that turn on with the signals...

Rep Power: 412 U don't have to get all pissy about it. I know that some cars have light green lights, I don't know if that is the difference between a coupe or sedan or 2k1 vs. 2k2. And you could correctly people more nicely next time. [IMG]i/expressions/face-icon-small-mad.gif[/IMG]

Rep Power: 0 Does anyone have the 2001 measurement specs? I believe the 2002 are still on Honda's web site. Anyway, what it looks like I might have to do is approximate my measurements between the two (if there are any differences). I noticed in other countries, they have those yucky side reflectors close to the door... YUCK.
