Yeaaa the "family car" is an 89 convertible
This is what I say to that car:
It is SUCH a piece of shyte! So yea we bought it used, as we always do because money doesn't grow on trees. We get it inspected by 3 different places just to make sure it's in good condition.
Not more than 3 months after we buy it, the whole freakin transmission just dies. We were 3 hours from home and had to pay $400 to get the stupid thing towed home....not to mention the Ks it cost to replace the trans...
So you know, you'd think that's it...it's gonna run fine now
Yeaaa...um NO.
It's always in the shop for one thing or another, it's missing a side mirror, the top doesnt attach well enough to keep air out, when it's icy we HAVE to put sandbags in the trunk or the car'll go all over the place and I can hear it a block away. It makes some kind of high rattle noise and NO ONE can figure out what the hell it is! Plus the other day it started making some noise like a dying animal in the back. No joke it's a big stinky pile of crap.
Now my dad's trying to give it to me to take to college next year, and all I can say is helllll no. (this is where i have a valid argument for trying to get him to help me buy a civic)
I actually don't mind the looks of the thing, but i mean come on!! I'm not gonna push the stupid thing to school and back. My mom doesn't want me to take it either, and my dad just thinks we're being stupid girls.
(He doesnt think cars are for girls, apparently. That was nice to learn ::rolls eyes:
Anyway, so in conclusion mustangs suck.
thank you for your time and have a nice day
