Why we shouldnt let Japanese drive F1 cars anymore
Why we shouldnt let Japanese drive F1 cars anymore
For all of you who watch F1, you already know why.
But Yuji Ide, is a terrible driver look what he did to poor Albers at the last Imola race.
I thought this picture was a pretty good shot of it. But now the combined amount of
cars him and Sato have taken out, I think it might be time to give up of on japanese drivers
I think someone forgot to tell them its not $14 million car destruction derby.

Sato's been doing fine. It's Ide that's been sucking more then a vacuum cleaner convention
Ide and Sato both drive for Super Aguri F1
On a side note, I just read they hired ex-Renault test driver Frank Montagnay to be their friday driver...and possibly a replacement for Ide

The japanese are not up to par with the rest of the people there, yet. They only have a shot in the first few laps to do well, so they HAVE to be very aggressive. Thats what the guy who is sideways in that picture said, and I agree.

If there's a lap difference between two cars following each other, shouldn't the slower car yield automatically? I thought there was a rule for this.

Any time a slower car is holding back faster traffic they wave a blue flag and they HAVE to let them pass. This is especially evident when people get lapped.

Most of the time there isnt a problem, but sometimes the guys getting lapped complain about it messing up their times.
They usually just get a slap on the wrist, and many drivers continue to block.
Sato used to be the worst, hes given up fighting a lap down in the super arugi not much of a point.
In Austriala he did do a damn good job blocking a chunk of the feild and ruinning their laps times though. (He at least wasnt a lap down though)

Well the big thing is that when a slower car doesn't immediatly move over, the leader can lose say 0.5 seconds. That could mean the difference between winning and losing, especially when coming out of the pits!
