most beautiful looking hatch from the back.
ugliest looking thing from the front. looks like the lovechild of a focus and a 7th gen.

still from me. im thinking of trading in my civ for a 2002 golf 1.8T. german engineering. 1.8 L. 180 hp. T-U-R-B-O, and still looks alot better than the new hatch. plus upgrades will keep it in the top end of I4's.
oh and its only under 20K. look at this months Motor Trend and you'll see.

No, I say we welcome them. They have many of the parts that we have an we might want some of their parts. Maybe the throttle bodies are similiar and one of them wants to upgrade to an aftermarket one? One of "us" could but it. Maybe someone will get rid of their sway bars and they'll be compatible. Maybe someone will buy aftermarket seats and get rid of his stock Si seats? Again, one of "us" might want to buy them. I say let's welcome anyone with an Si that is willing to chat with "us" about anything serious.

Grey, its probably too early to find any detailed info on thier engines..or is it? You know of any web site that has a good in-depth article or anything about the new engines? I was thinking the same thing about switching out the throttle or suspension parts (sheesh i love this universal platform Honda has ).

I've had a deposit on a white one since Jan 15, now i'm just waiting for Honda to let me have it. And I won't flame people for having slower cars either. Lots of people on here with cars faster that the new Si, and SOME of them annoy me, bust most of them are cool. Just give us a chance man.

that was a point i had tried to make a long time ago. if you dont own a 7th gen civic coupe or sedan. then you dont belong here. find your home elsewhere. this is not a shelter.
you dont see me on a ferrari forum(i dont know if one exists) talking about my ferrari (while i dont have one).

our big brother is gonna stomp on us any day of the week.

beat it si.

thats my opinion and im sticking to it no matter how much i get flamed.

The Hatch Si's look more like the Type-R technically speaken. And what do we do with all the Canadian EX guys, since they're Si's already Surely we can't kick them off. Could Derek create a new section for Si hatches and Type-R's ? But then again, take it a step further and create sections for EX and LX/DX, and while you're at it create sections for Coupe and Sedan also. And kick me to the European LS section.
Doesn't sound good does it ?

I agree with newkid.

You've already been ragged by old Si owners, Neon Owners, Focus owners, DSM owners etc, and you're scared of the New Si owners? Gimme a break, like I said before the look thing alone is enough to shut them up. It's a 7th gen, just start a new thread area for it and everyone will be on there merry way.

i will admit that i am a jelous fool. When those guys with the Si's start commin in here and rubbin it in my face that they already have a turbo or supercharger on their cars, and can run circles around me, then im gooan get pissed. Yes there are companies that already have a near production version of a turbo for their cars. I dont know which company, but i raed somewhere that its there. I say they start their own site.
