TC hands down. The 2AZ-FE is a damn good motor. its reliable as hell and takes a beating. My mom's is still fine and she treats the car like ****. (02 Solara w/ 2AZ) Its also got a nice powerband. The topend is a bit lacking, but just a P&P can yeild great gains in that area. You also have the option of a TRD SC, or maybe a turbo kit, and they can handle quite a bit more power than any current Honda.

Rep Power: 0 dude, i'm also looking to try to either get into an 05 civic Si (EP3) or an 06 Scion Tc. so GO FOR IT BRO!. get the TC and be at peace. I'm getting ready in maybe 4 more months to get another car and it's either those 2 and i may have a better chance at the scion tc cause i work at a harley davidson dealership and the sales manager there knows the sales manager at toyota. so maybe that'll work in my favor.
I'm looking to trade in my 2002 civic Ex that has 50,000 miles on it. it's in GREAT condition!.
We sold the sales manager at toyota a harley with a KILLER DEAL and now maybe in some kinda "pay back" way, he'll be able to give ME a KILLER DEAL TOO!.
i'm mainly looking to get into a new 2006 car. if not, i'll go with a 2005 Si. but thats IT!.
those scion tc's got GREAT reviews and minor flaws. if you were to get one of those scion tc's. I'D BE VERY PROUD OF YOU MY SON!!!.
PS: LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA .......a hybrid?....... why?! thats the BITCH model of the civic....LOL. the civic is already a GREAT car on gas. why would you wanna get the hybrid?...just get yourself an upgrade man!. GO SCION!, "WHAT MOVES YOU"?
YOU'LL GET DICKED OVER IN FULL PRICE AND FINAL BALANCE OF THE CAR BASED ON YOUR CREDIT. DON'T TRY TO GET A SCION TC IF YOUR CREDIT IS LOW. OR BAD.
DUHHHH!
I'M LOOKING TO GETTING A "SUPER WHITE" ONE. PLAIN, WITH NO OPTIONS OR PACKAGES OR ALL THAT OTHER BULLSHIT!. THOSE CARS ALREADY COME FULL POWER, SUNROOF, OK STEREO, AND ALOY WHEELS. YOU DON'T NEED ALL THAT OTHER BULLSHIT UNLESS YOU WANT YOUR CAR TO END UP WITH A END PRICE BALANCE OF 25,000 DOLLARS! LOL

Rep Power: 0 nahh, i'd rather take one WITHOUT a spoiler. the only thing to do to those cars would be to put better rims on it. i'm thinking of motegi ff7's in hyper black.
those rims with a white scion tc would look awsome!. kinda like this don't you think?
AND!
i don't know about you guys but thats ****in smokin HOT!

Rep Power: 254 The tC is a ripoff, not worth the $$$, also what fun is it when the dealer does the mods???
(suddenly excited)
wait for the 4-door si coming out

Rep Power: 229 I'd say go with the tC.
But to all the people ragging on the Civic Hybrid, they are decent cars. My dad as a 2003 Hybrid and it's fantastic. 45-60mph on average and it's just as comfortable and just as powerful as my 02 ex.
Rag all you want but he only has to fill up his tank once a month.

Rep Power: 0 I would go with the tC if you don't want to be dissapointed with lack of power as you would in the Civic. Hybrids are great cars we have a 2003 as well, but in the end the cost of a hybrid versus how much money you actually save on gas doesn't make up the price difference (any dealer will tell you this), unless you drive A LOT talking over 20-25k a year. If gas prices are really bothering you that much then go with the Civic but I would also look at the other models EX, LX (can get 40+ mpg on the highway) and the Si mpg is almost comparable to the tC but it is faster stock than the tC. I'm also considering a tC but I can't trade would result in negative equity.

Rep Power: 296 If you communte long distances to work in morning traffic then i think the hybrid is worth it. You get the free carpool sticker and good gas mileage. Lot of my bosses, have mercedes and bmw's for there weekend cars, but communte to work in there hybrids so they can use the carpool lane and save money on gas.
If you dont communte long distances and want something sporty, with decent amount of power. I say get the tC. For the money the TC is a pretty good buy in my opinion.

Rep Power: 0 i saw a tc for 16,800 brand new. another 3,500 you can have a supercharger installed adding another 40 horses. there's a 60,000 mile warranty for the supercharger. i saw a 2006 civic si for $20,500. i would go for the new vic si.
