get a wrx and make it just a bit faster than an STi and you are golden. That would be awesome, and look so much better than having the book shelf on the back toO!

and yes suspension would be my first mod...coilovers, camber kit, struts, sway bars, a nice set of 18 inch volks, pref gold...

yeah the poeple from clubwrx.net said the same thing, i could get the cobb stage 2 and it would bring the car up 2 285hp. but i c all these different things you can do from cobb..i could pretty much turn a wrx into a sti with no problem, no that i am going to do that b.c id just buy one but i thought that would be cool for long term...i could just upgrade and become a sti or better...
yeah i wouldnt mind having one...but the thing is exmaple: i went to play gold yesturday and after i was done i went to a quick check to get some cigs and a soda, i see this banged up accord, and then i see this black srt-2 doing about a 100 to catch up to his friend when there is a crap load of poeple out..idk just not cool..as for the interier of that car it can be replaced.lol handling might be able to get a lil better...but id rather start with something that doesnt suck in so many places.
yeah, ill have to become a memeber today! thank you! 300WHP. yeah im trying to reseach and see how the car is, long term wise. maintaining also. as for commuting i only have to drive 7.71 miles to work..so a grand total of 15.42 miles a day..which is sweet..
yeah if this should be the car i get, i have a list of parts i have in mind...some sti parts, and some cobb parts..i would like some lite modded, and still know it will last a long time..
i know when i had my civic turbod it was very nice, but i couldnt get it to work right...and i miss my honda being modded, it sucks being completely stock. but i never went out of the way to race poeple, or anyhting like that...it the chance came to race and it was safe so to say(not alot of poeple) sure why not... but for me its more of having a nice car to drive and know i got the power..would like to track it 2 sometimes.
thanks again!
Btw when i wa son my way home from golf i saw a rsx-s in black and it was stock and it was so nice..
its hard for me, i like the wrx and i like the rsx-s..i wish i could have both..the only thing i can say about the cars is that i know the rsx-s is probably a hell of alot more reiable then the wrx stock for stock. which is a plus..but im sure the suby is good also.

SUbaru's are reliable........ except the turbo ones are less reliable. Generally, turbo cars just dont last as long as NA cars....
You mention cams, and I'm sure you know how flat-4's work, isnt it a pain to get down there for cam install? Of all the people I know that have a WRX, no one has aftermarket cams..... and most of them are over 300WHP on EJ20 based mainly larger IHI turbo and tuning. turboback of course is a good choice.

Have you considered the Legacy GT? It has more power than the WRX, it's more refined, spacious and more rare. Also it has a reinforced transmission and engine is basically same as STi one except for a few things. Go test drive one and comprare it to a WRX.

i have no clue that is would be hard to change the cams in the wrx...mmi know a place that is a subaru performance shop..they do other cars but there fortay is subarus. but if your saying id be fine without doing a cam that sounds good..less money and less work to do...but i think the cam would add a lil extra where its needed? no? i am trying to stay away from upgrading the turbo..yeah as for the turbo back, i like the Apexi gt spec titiauim, or the greddy ti. sorry for the spelling!
turbo cars less reliable then NA..yeah i understand that, but i mean i should be able to get 100k on it or more right?

i havent looked at that car! but since you brought it up ill check it out.. thanks!
id rather have the wrx, the 250hp legacy is 28k for that then i might as well go buy EVO or a STI..since everyone on this board dislikes EVOs. id own a EVO before a STI...but thats just me.
anyways i like the WRX, my insurance for that is 1950 a year...i am going to check what it is for a rsx-s..if its cheaper then that could play a lil part in my choice.. also since CuRiOuSfIsH said that NA cars will last longer that could also play since i want something i could mod but still be just as good stock...if thats makes any sence!
ok so the insurance for a 2006 rsx-s for the year is 1681.00, the wrx is 1950.00 a year. what would you do.

yeah, changing spark plugs and injectors are a bit of pain as well.... [--] <--very simplified flat 4 picture.... the cams are in the [ ], and injectors and plugs are outside the [--]. And there's a lot of stuff on top of the engine. Theoretically, cams should benefit, but I cant say b/c I dont know anyone with them. Stock turbo.... I am not sure how much WHP those can push out. As I mentioned before, a IHI VF34 package (injectors, turbo, fuel pump) only costs $1300 for about almost 300WHP with tuning. I feel thats hard to beat. It's something I want for my EJ20 someday. On the topic of FMIC, it's not always the best. Yes, it looks nice, and provides cooler air, but all the extra piping means more weight, and less flow.

i just got off the phone with my mom, and i was saying to her about the 2 cars, i would like a wrx or a rsx-s. insurance wise its a its a 269.00 differance fromt he 2..i kow 269 isnt alot but i could use the extra money for the payments...
kinda surprised that the rsx-s is cheaper only b.c its a smaller car then the wrx..
next week i have to go get me a new windshield so i dont less the money for my civic..then im all done..and its ready to go..
how would you judge what to get...money wise? by the cost of insurance or the cost of the car?

I have a friend with a 06 WRX, it's not as bad looking as ppl may think. But then again, not everyone likes how the 7thgen Civic looked so..... it's all opinion. RSX does look nice.... but thats area thing to draw the line.... is looks more important or modding potential? ANd what is your final goal for the car. I think the RSX has a better interior feel, but isnt as great to drive around town. 4WD will help you out, but will suck in terms of gas milleage (I average 22-23, 20 if I'm boost happy), and 4 doors vs. 2 doors. ANd there is always something to be said about turbo power and the lumpy exhaust note of a turbo back exhaust, flat 4, and unequal length header. But as mentioned, drive it, see what cha like.

well if i got the rsx-s the final thing when its paid off is to get a full race turbo kit for the car...do it that way..as for the wrx, i would have some fun with it when it is paid off also...cams, all that great stuff to make it alot faster..
i just want somehting better all around.mod friendly, and not have worry about what is going to fit and all that **** b.c i had some problems with my 7thgen and i dont want to ever go through that **** again..dam thing cost me more money then it was work and for what 6lbs of boost and more problems then i could handle..
but yes the wrx sounds so sick with exhuast...loby..popn..nice car 2..lol
idk its hard to pick.
ok well i found this car on clubrsx...its putting out 663hp 425tq...
this is what im saying! http://www.5150rsx.com/images/663hp23psi_hi.wmv

600+ HP is great, so.......... would you like to drive that everyday? Personally I would rather have a 600HP WRX than a RSX-S. This is debatable...... but I feel if youre going to drive everyday, ~200WHP is pretty much the max in a front drive car if youre still interested in turning the car.
