YES I have heard of them. It's tru what they say, you get what you pay for. HOWEVER, my experience with Drop-Zone on my PREVIOUS car (99 Civic) wasn't too bad. The ride wasn't all that bumpy. Honestly the only problems I ever had was adjusting them. For some reason the two rings that spin on the cup (that is threaded) in order to raise or lower the car would always get stuck. Some say it wasn't anything alittle WD-40 could cure. But I wouldn't know. I never tried it.
