I saw more rice today than I have ever seen in my life. First there was a 2000 EX that had an Si badge on the back. But it was green and had regular rims with the plastic honda hubcaps (instead of actual Si rims) The next thing I saw really blew my mind though, and gives 2k1 owners a bad name. This guy had a 2001 green civic. He had an Si badge on the back and the DOHC VTEC stickers on the sides. I asked him why he had those stickers. He tells me that they bought it with the Si engine in it. That some place he got it from did it for him. Now... correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't that a pretty much impossible feat since the B16A engine spins counterclockwise, and the engine/drive spins clockwise in the 7th gen civic?? And the fact that he had an auto transmission... and the B16A can't be coupled with an auto tranny, makes his story even more unbelieveable. I asked him to pop the engine and he wouldn't cuz he said that his "hood release" was broken. I said ok, then you dont mind if I look under the engine compartment??? Oh then he had to go. Man... people are dumb.

I really dont understand why people post messages like this... If he wants his car to be "RICE" then so be it. Its his car, he can do whatever he pleases. Im not trying to start a riot here or anything but i think people should be able to do what they like to there own car without everyone getting on there case.

Yeah, saw an inca yesterday with an SiR badge and some other vinyl on the way down to orlando. Saw a 96 accord with an Sir badge and an acura emblem. Best part was that the acura emblem was upside down

It was really strange, I passed thru this one town this weekend that i had never been in, like an hour and a half from my house...it was terrible. A true twilight zone experience. I passed about 5 or 6 cars, a few hondas, acuras, neons...and every single one of them had an unpainted body kit. Every one. I couldnt believe it. The town where no one paints their kits.
Just thought I'd throw that in.

Wow must be rare to find two green riced out cars...Im the only green Civic in like a 50 mile radius probably. Anyways, as far as I know the B series in the Si and the D series in the 7th gen spin the same way...the only problem is the engine bay and getting it to fit. The K series is the only engine to spin opposite the other Honda motors. Did he open his engine bay right there would get him to shut up. As for no auto transmission on the B16 that is false also IT CAN be done, but only if you can find a JDM Transmission for it as there were no US auto B16's.

The F20C engine also goes clockwise with the drive train. Along with the K series engines. So there is a JDM auto tranny for the B16C??

You have to admit though, some people ask to be made fun of.....why try to be something you are not !!
Why try to trick people into thinking things that aren't true. Especially if other people are going to flat out know that (ie) that your not driving a Civic Si, but you have a Si sticker on your car.....That's lame...not hating on people like that...they can put whatever the hell they want on a car, but it's still bullshit........NO ONE likes Posers....!!!

nytryder....personally i don't care what ricers like, it is the image that gets put onto me from ricers that i don't like....people ask me what kinda ride i have and i say honda civic...they automatically say oh another Uncle Ben, it is a label all import cars have been given because of dumbazz people that put halfpainted body kits on their car, 10+ stickers on the side of there car(sometimes not even having half of the brands they claim, spoilers that stick 5feet in the freakin air, not to mention SIR stickers and all that stupid trash and finally anything yellow or some other flourescent color...give me a break

We aren't hatin...hating involves jelousy...this is just pointing out how stupid and ignorant some people are and i don't like to be classified with them....if you have a tite body kit and a respective spoiler on your integra more power to u, that is cool...as long as you aren't cheap and don't paint it...if you noticed we are flamming those who have a body kit but it isn't painted or they say they have an engine that they really don't have if you ask me that would make them haters...they hate on people they can go out and get the engine swap so they be cheap azses and put stickers on the side of their ride that says they have the engine...so not only do they make themselves look like fools but the guy who worked to get that engine and clean lookin ride he gets degrated because of it too....
