Where I live, it's common to see cars in the $40-60,000 range... a lot of 3- and 5-series, C-, E-, and S-classes, a lot of Cadillacs and a lot of Corvettes, but when I see a car like that driving on the road, I always come close to wrecking my car.
Two days ago I saw a brand new E60 M5 driving the opposite direction and that was just about the end of my 3er.

yeah, there's quite a few rich-*** bastards around here.
you should have told me you were in town! I'd say that Monterey is right on the other side of the hill, but you already know that, since you had to pass through it to get to Carmel. If you were here on saturday, you could have gone to check out the Norcal meet!

I remember I saw one of the in person before, the month they came out. Some really rich guy from out of town passing throuhg.
I wasn't impressed at all, and it took me about 2 months before I realized that the thing is a supercar.
Its the most boring looking supercar ever.

the point of a supercar is to perform amazingly, yes, but to also get you noticed as someone who wants to kill the planet for fun and do a million miles per hour because you can. The carerra gt is just very toned down for a supercar and that takes a lot away from its appeal.

ITS SPELLED "PORSCHE" not "PORCHE". but back on topic. those GT's are nice but id rather much prefer one of these:

basically its the same car except with a million dollars worth of mods

That looks fake, is there a real one?
Or how about one of these things.

10 second quarter mile for a production car, and I think it pulls 1.35 g's. Sounds good to me

Today I saw a BMW Z8. Who would think that a car so... strange-looking would be worth $160,000?

OmG! Koenigsegg CCX, lovely! I LOVE IT!!!
I'm not interested in it's 1/4 mile performance, though. What calls to my attention is that it's a roadster (or targa, perhaps?) that can hit 246mph. Now THAT's gotta be hair-rising!

Oh, and the doors!! My God!!!! They are amazing! (kinda open like the ones mndthegap1 has on his car! Completely vertical!)

I don't like the Carrera GT that much though.

Hey, can anyone clarify my doubt? Are the CC's roadsters or targas?
