gay speeding ticket...
ok, i tried searching but to no avail did i find what i was looking for. just recently i got pulled over for doin 95 in a 65. good thing though cause i was at about 100. anyways im in texas and i already took defensive driving and deferred. am i out of options? i think i heard that deferred is only once a year per county but since im 30 over im already disqualified. is there nothing i can do? i heard i could possibily fight it but what would isay? and if i jsut pay it and it goes on my record will my insurance go up?? someone help!!!

btw i got clocked by a state trooper...

well i would see how much it is first and if its outrageous like $1000 or something like that than i would get a lawyer to help otherwise i would pay it if its like $200 or something like that
gay speeding ticket=46 in a 45 or 26 2' in to a school zone. What you got was caught. Go to court and see if you can haggle it down with the DA if you cant do that go to court and hope the officer doesnt show.
well said. my opinion is to just pay it and let whatever happens, happen. and leave the speed for the track.

i got stopped doing 111mph in a 55, 56 over. i didnt know i was speeding, i worked for 12 hours then i was helping my brother move and it was like 3am when i was driving home and i was half asleep maybe 3/4 asleep. i then realized it slowed down but apparently not in time cause i got clocked. what im doing is just ajourning it as much as i could. the cop did 2x now so next time we are then we pray he ajourns it once more than we can fight to dismiss it. otherwise im ****ed twice, cause im gunna get hit with about 500+ fine, and suspension of lisence.
now i dont speed at all max i do is like 10 over and only if the rest of traffic is. otherwise speed limit

umm 35 north... in cooke county... freakin trooper was like in the service road and caught me by laser. on the way back i found him and drove by him a couple times
so if i fight it, maybe the trooper won't show? maybe he'll be inlike el paso or something... idk i hope
if you fight it you will lose, why becuase the cop will be there to testify... and the ticket even says you were speeding... really theres no way to get out of a speeding ticket your bascially guilty before innocent.... i would say just pay the fine and be done.... or and btw if you want to fight your next speeding ticket invest in a radar detector..... ive had mine for a few months and it works, dont want anymore speeding tickets get it....

rader detector doesn't work with LASER!!! laser is never on. Its only on then they get you so you can't stop it. also if i fight it, what are the chances a state trooper will be in town?

Just set up a court date and whatever happens happens. I learned my lessons on speeding. The last close call was i think on 121 going to grapevine mills mall and a cop off his motorcycle. He had rador on hand and i really didint know how fast i was going but i think it was like 80 on a 60. He took time to get on so i slowed down a bit then punched it to like 90+ and got off the nearest exit which was an on ramp. I just see him fly by down below and yah that pretty much scared tha hell outta me.

yeah, i didn't even want to speed. i just wanted to prove my point of the fact that my rpm is at 5000 when i go 100... guess i have proof now but no more!!!!.... well not for at least a year..
lets say you do decide to fight, My speech teacher had jury duty on monday, and he told us he was there for one reason..Most tickets get dismissed because people want a trial by jury, and the Texas cant come up with a jury in time for the court case. So he was a part of a experimental jury that was there for traffic tickets. He said that everyone that went there with high hopes got shot down when their actually was a jury ready for the trial, and every person said they would just pay the damn ticket. It was an experiment to test the States ability to produce a jury for such minor things like class C misdemeanors.
^true laser is never on... they have to aim at you in order for it to go off.. but the distance laser travels is about 700 feet or more.... plenty of time to slow down... why i know this beucase cops use laser down here about 95% of the time..... and ive been testing it... cops can nail you from 4-500 feet away, and the detector would give you about a 5-10 sec window before the speed pops on his gun....
