The Injen SRI seems to be the SRI of choice. you can of course go with the cheaper brands and they will probably work, but the Injen SRI fits correctly and everyone that has it seems to be happy with it. I personally would go with the name brand one, but you do what you want. neither one will give you noticeable gains. it pretty just changes the way your car sounds and might give you 1 or 2 HP if you are lucky.

I just put in the injen CAI and it seems to me there is more power and response, compared to the stock version, that is.

so far, one of us ahs proven there is a difference between the cai and the sri, but it is that you get less choices for strut bars if you go with cai

you really aren't going to notice a difference between the CAI and SRI. some will say the CAI provides more power, but you are talking 1 or 2 HP on a good day. go with whichever one you think looks and sounds better because that's all you are really going to notice from an intake on our cars.

Skip the CAI and get an SRI, SpwUSA makes a nice intake called a hayame pro-flow, modacar.com carries this intake. I picked it up for 99 bucks but they've upped the price since then. Instead of having a metal pipe curve to the throttle body, it uses a curved rubber coupler. I like the look of it.

The Injen SRI looks real good better than others I seen.
I got booth CAI and SRI and I can convert fron one to the other withing 5 minutes or less with a connecting piece I made.
I haven't noticed much difference between the two.
But on a very hot day I like the CAI as when is rainning I switch to SRI remember that some of our cars have that strange noise when it rains.
I have a header and a 2.75" pipe, so as a package it gains about
5-10hp and when I hit my NOS the more air the better I gain about 30hp- 50hp to the wheels.
The air intake will help to get more HP when used as a package.
Is more of a complement to the other moods.

your car wont hydro lock unless you completly submerge the filter (which would take like a 2 ft deep puddle) and then even if you do , if you haev a bypass valve it wont suck the water up
