OT: the arrival of both type-R's???
ive been hearing a lot lately about the arrival of both type-Rs (civic typeR and rsx typeR) in the US and in Canada...
i was wondering if this is true and if anyone can shed some light on the matter...

I wish. There is a thread in off topic for a petition, but Honda wants to make $$$ off of acuras, so i dont think any amount of pleading is gonna bring the CTR here.

Rep Power: 0 They definatly aren't going to bring the Type R here! Why? Because all it is is a better looking and fater version of the 2002 Si Hatchback, so it wouldn't make sense to have both as the Type R wi\ould outsell the Si. As the for the RSX Type R I'm not sure of it's specs, so I couldn't really say.

Rep Power: 0 The RSX-R is supposed to be coming for 2003 model year (end of 2002)....that has been tossed around a lot more and is definitaly believeable.
The CTR is a different story...there have never been any CTR's here in the states and I don't think they're gonna start.

rumors have definitely been flying around about the rsxR coming...
i must have just assumed something about the civicR

Rep Power: 0 yes, in fact I believe there are already some in Canada..not sure if they're imported or not, but they are real Type R's...pic taken from CRSX
if you do get an Si(R) they do come in white, just buy the Type R body kit, you just wont have the performance.

There have been ITR's so the RSX is believeable. When have there been CTR's? Never. Why would Honda start now, especially the way they're goin.
If they do not only will I be surprised but I will also get rid of my Si for one, but that will probably NOT happen
