get the Mustang.................................. If you like dic k
This is completely up to you (its your $) so why would you even ask us? If u ask on this site you will get 85% that say type-s if you go to a Found On Road Dead site then it will be the other way around. We are biased so our opinion doenst really matter that much.
For what its worth, I would get the Acura

get the stang and beat everyone that utters the phrase "horsepower/liter"
If you want something thats fast out of the box and when you get more horsepower can deliver it easy pick a rearwheel drive. If your looking for a long dependable car that can hang a turn and still be pretty fast for cheap pick the rsx. If you drive in the city and have alot of stop and go traffic get the V-8 for torque down low. Its all in what you want...don't let anyone else decide for you.
I sold my svt focus (a 14.012 1/4 mile car) MODIFIED to get me a vic...a crown victoria police interceptor. don't
at me. I needed a safer more dependable(200,000mile capable car *easily) with lots of torque. The 2004 and newer police cars have 250hp and 297tq from the factory...I know it still weighs a ton actually 2 tons but they are still fast for their size a high 15 second car on a great day but a 16.1 car easy on a good day. Plus you are feared on the highway by people who think your a cop.

the first year of the newer body style was in 94

yes, lets all talk about how a mustang can go fast in a straight line and forget that the RSX can kill it in some twisties. going in a straight line is SOOO hard. hell, a slightly suspension modded civic could own a mustang in turns. i just hate them cause my ex had one and it broke ALL the damn time. i respect the older ones. like the 90- and back. but the ones after 90 were just horrible.

Yup. RSX.

I'd pick the RSX cuz I think it's damn hot in comparisson to the Stang.

A commute that's 200 miles a day can do this to ya ...

New in 1988. Original engine, 2nd tranny.

(In other words, my land yacht can beat up your land yacht.
But I digress ... and still stand by what I said earlier about sports cars typically being beaten upon more than "sporty" cars.

V8 in the straights and (with springs, shocks, subframes, tires and some maximum motorsports goodies) in the turns. everyone talks about how a type S handles so much better, stock for stock it'd be close, mod for mod even closer. my civic handled like **** stock and after $1000 it's getting better, just give the stang a chance, the rewards for modifications are MUCH better.

... and the 1994 Caprice had 260hp/330tq on an engine that was purposely detuned. A whole decade later, and Ford still couldn't get it right.
