Sick and tired of this crap
I am geting really sick of hearing about all these people who say they kicked the crap out of all these faster cars. One person said they beat a 99 V6 stang, another said they beat a GSR, the list goes on and on. Our cars arent fast and most (98%) do not have N2O. Rep Power: 0 just because its a faster car doesnt mean a civic cant beat it.....it depends on who is driving, the driving conditions, and other things.
Ive never beat a V6 mustang, or anything that would absloultely decimate our car....but i have beaten a 2 celicas, an integra, 3 neons, and a couple others...nothing to really be shocked about. although i did run with a firebird, and even beat it off the line....for about 3 seconds....then i was toast.
i have no reason to lie....i know this thread isnt directed towards me but i just thought id defend myself....because someone told me there is no way i beat a Celica GT-S, well i did and you can talkt to the guy....we're pretty good friends now

Dude, I dont mean to be a punk about this, so dont get mad, but your full of it. Im sorry, there is no way a 127 horse 5 spd civic could keep up w/ a 99 or above V6 AUTO mustang.
Im going to go rent a V6 steed tomorow and my dad and I will race it with my 5spd EX. Remember, the mustang wil be an AUTO. I will bring my digital camera with me and take some pic's. I look forward to posting my civic got its @$$ handed to it by a Ford Crustang. Dont get me wrong, but Ive realized, our cars might look really good, but they cant compete w/ alot of other cars, thats probably why they are called economy cars. Rep Power: 0 The firebird is the 200 horse power version. The trans am, firehark, and formula are the LS1 versions. I could see beating it off the line if it was an auto, but like pounds said, he got smoked after that. Trust me, dont try to race one unless you want to go home with your tail between your legs.

Rep Power: 0 lol.ok dude..just telling ya..my sis has a 00 V6 Stang..5spd..I've borrowed it alot and that thing isn't that fast. I raced an Integra and got my *** kicked...and I am not sh1tty driver w/ a 5spd mind you. And we all know hp numbers don't decide a race. You haven't had any experiance with this most likely (hell if i know..can't read ur mind), and I have. Best to keep your mouth shut when you don't know what your talking about. im sure it would of beat me off the line but it sat and melted his tires for about a second....then blew my @ss away.
but he wanted to race....and i wont back down....id rather try and take a loss than chicken out and do nothing at all....

Rep Power: 0 that was me who posted the 99 stang auto that I beat. Belive it man, that car is a turd. The only thing fast about that car was its altezza's and graphics. The 18" KMC's might have slowed him down, But no BS I beat him!!!

top speed: 109 MPH
so there, they are slow as hell! for 190hp and 220lb-ft. lol what junk cars.
even the 5spd's aren't fast. but they probably are a tad quicker than our cars. at least for 0-60. but maybe not the quarter.

Rep Power: 0 true indeed. but seriously, i've burned quite a few auto stangs. I love to do it, when they have they're girlfriend riding shotgun. I rev at them, then take em out. anytime i see a stang with 1 tailpipe, i go after it. haha.

>>OK obviously youre not factoring in the 600-800lb weight difference plus the fact that FORD f*cks up the transmissions on the V6 'stang. Trust me they are slow. I beat one of my friends who has one in a race, and i have an LX 5sp(only mod is CAI). I don't know about the stories with cleica GTS's and GSR's(another one of my friends kicked the sh*t out of my car with his GSR), but the mustang story has to be true.
