In my local add's they advertise 18k-20k, and I've looked...I looked into a GT when it was time for a new car...infact I would be driving one right now if I had not gotten my first speeding ticket in my sis's stang

Sorry about that last post man im just really pissed off right now for other reasons. As for those advertised prices, you gotta read the fine print. American car dealers do that a lot, but u still end up paying awfully close to the MSRP unless you have a really good trade. Right now in the classifieds here in Tampa, Chevy is running an ad that says $8600 for a cavalier and $21000 for an Avalanche..........yeah right.

Nitehawk, I agree stangs are slow! I have beaten a 96 V6 auto, it wasn't clean but he couldn't gain on me at all. I ended up inching him and he had to fall behind me. As for 5L mustangs, I raced one that was loaded with 4 big guys in there, I figure and extra 800lbs or so from them. Also, it was an old 80s beater. It was a slow car and it was easy to beat. Now, if it only had 1 driver in it, I would have been squashed!

ok, here's my two cents worth, i applaud everyone who makes their honda look good and all, but they are slow, no offense. its ok if two imports race eachother, but not an import and a domestic. i don't like it when kids take their hondas and try to act like billy bad A$$ tooting their pipes at everything in site, i was walking my dog and a honda came by and slammed on the gas as he went by. thats what iritates the hell out of me. in my opinion hondas are great show cars, not race cars
