New supra and NSX?
I don't no if this is a repost but what do you all think of these. I like the supra over the nsx but thats my opinion. To bad the supra isn't coming with any turbo's only a v8 in the non convertible and a v6 in the convertible. o well

Meh... whatever
Go back a few months and you'd still say that Honda'd never do a V10 or any turbo engine...
A Vantage? You crazy? Nuh uh! The Vantage is WAY more slanted-nosed than the "Supra"!

Well, unless you referred to an older Vantage

If that's the new nsx, i will puke. It doesn't seem to have any characteristics of it's predessor. v6 to v10, mid-engine to front, total new body styling with barely any marks from the 1st gen. Why would they use the NSX to compete against cars such as the GTR Concept? I hope they change the body style or at least give it a different name.
I like the way they are going with the supra though besides an ugly front bumper and a v8 engine. If they decide to stick with most of the body styling, i believe they have a good chance competing against the Z and other popular vehicles.
It looks like the companies are trying to battle it out using the latest styles and the biggest engines; Skylines from Inline-6 to V-6, Supra from Inline-6 to V8, NSXs from V-6 to V-10. Not sure how much they are going to affect their handling abilities but whatever. I'll most likely be sticking to older vehicles when i grow up. Huge cars and/or huge engines aren't for me.

yeh the NSX replacement is "supposed to be" the HSC. which IMO is sooooo much hotter.
the one on the picture is NOT the NSX, well at least not what the honda press is talking about, it's the next gen acura tsx aka HONDA sports 4.

edit: mah bad i just looked at it closely. it resembles the sports 4 but a little more beefed up. who knows it might be the next NSX. but i prefer the HSC better. btw: that supra looks HOT.

btw: rumor has it that it may be either:
1. the new supra
2. the new SC
3. a s2000/350z range sports car.
i think it would be the 3rd one. this is toyota's answer to the hole in their lineup. if you think about it, the MR2 is getting dropped and they don't have anything to go against the S and the Z. oh did you guys know that it's a convertible hardtop??? yeh same as the new VW Eos coming up. the S and the Z needs a new facelift because we have new players in the field and it sure will stir things up.

The successor to the NSX will be a Front-engined V10 with AWD. It is supposed to compete with luxery cars in the segment like the Bently Continental GT & the AM DB9. Honda will move the SH-AWD technology up-market into that teritorry and down into the more profitable market because they will use it in the Spotrts4 / TSX / Accord.
The successor to the Supra will be cheaper than Honda's car, but also more sports oriented.
Anyway, I like the supposed look of the Yota, but I would seriously like to see some H competition. I was all for the HSC 4 years ago... I hope they keep some styling cues from it.

The NSX was over priced or something. That think looked like a super car but it was priced in the vette range. I wonder why no one wanted one. The new NSX looks too low end. They should just make a v-8 and drop it in to a s2000 and call it a xl3000.

so are any of the inline 6 generations going to stay an inline? It seems like the V-setup seems to be popular these days.
The only 90s sports car that hasn't gone to a substially higher displacement engine is the Mazda RX series staying at a healthy 1.3 liters. They should compete with the new supercars with a 2.0 Liter RENESIS
