If you have read any of the headlines, you will now know that Ford is going to build (in limited production) the new GT40 concept car. All of you who say "who cares, its a Ford", keep your mouth shut,[IMG]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/IMG]. A supercharged 5.4 litre mated to a 6 spd w/ just over 500 horsies under the mid engined car will surely give some Ford advocates a jump start to the heart. Combined with an all aluminum outer shell and 18"s up front and 19" in the rear, I think it will be a sight for sure. I know Im still an import guy, but this car will be one for FORDS books for sure.

I saw it awhile ago. Looks pretty cool, but don't know what the price is going to be. Ford is laying off tons of people and shutting plants. I don't know if it will go into production.

The GT40 was originally designed to run at LeMans, and I think it won several championships. If they build this one like the older model, a vette won't even have a chance ! I heard they handled like a biotch. Ecspecially being a mid-engined ride! If I was rich, I would definitely have one of these in my collection !!!!!

I hate ford, but that is a nice car. It kinda reminds me of a Ferrari.
