Ok, you all know about that awesome little supercar with the type-R engine sold in England right? Well, you can buy it in the States too! It is street legal and everything! The only catch is that you drop the CTR engine for an Ecotec one, so is it still worth it?

Well, as I recall, it was all the buzz because it had the Type-R engine and was extrememly light... it was essentially what everyone here with a swap wants their Civic to be. The current model being sold however, has a GM produced Ecotec engine.

"Powertrain? No, it’s not from a motorcycle, as in other approximately similar contraptions. For your Atom you may choose between two 2.0-liter-class automobile engines, a Honda iVTEC in normal U.K. spec or, as preferred by Brammo, a General Motors Ecotec made in Germany (GM and Bramscher have a friendly relationship)."
Read carefully it says you have two choices the 2liter honda or the gm. I am sure there is a price difference for those who can not afford how pricey this may be.

Guys the machine will still fly, look at the weight to power ratio.
Any specs on the care here?:
Brammo’s goal is to make and market by the end of this year an all-American supercar named the Rogue GT, powered by an all-American V12 engine displacing 600 cubic inches and producing 1100 hp without blowers, more with.

After reading that line again, I guess you can choose the engine...
Anyway, it might be in STi and G35 crosshairs in terms of price, but it sure is in a league of its own in terms of performance.

Tru but try driving the atom in a nasty storm now is it worth it? I think its a cool car but for the price i could build my own rocket and still drive in the rain or not get pooped on by birds!

Bump for Oregon engineering
Too bad it's on the opposite side of the state...I'd love to drop by the factory and maybe test drive one
