The manual says Transmission flush..I had it done at recommended 60k at Honda and it cost about 110 bucks. It paid off because now I'm having issues with the auto trans and documentation of service is GOLDEN!!

if you lived here youd never go to a regular mechanic after seeing how ghetto the shops are here. dealers are clean and act professional. theres a honda dealer here in roseville that kicks butt. coolest people ever... most honda dealerships suck and have bad service.. you just gotta find the right one.

go to honda and get some tranny fluid
go to a parts store and get some plugs, maybe oil and brake pads if you need them.
check your belts and look at your p/s and brake fluid
maybe get some coolant
change your cabin filter
park the car in the garage and do all the work yourself and +1 rep to me for telling you how to save money

you can get your CEL checked at autozone for FREE and even get a print out of the code and what not. so at least you can have a rough idea of whats going on
It really depends, sometimes you can find a reliable honest mechanic with a ghetto *looking* shop, but he does excellent work. You could also go to a dealer where everything *looks* clean and high tech, but they will lie to you and rip you a new one.
The best thing you can do is learn about your car, and ask a lot of questions at the shop. Let them know you are interested and are not an idiot. If the shop lies to you find another one, but you have to be smart enough to know if they are actually lieing and have the cohonas to call them out. I had a chevy dealer that used to give me $20 oil changes do a 180 on me. One day they upped it $30 and just acted like I did not even have a coupon, those coupons are usually crap, unless you have never been to the place before. Then one day the guy said that they had to get special oil at the honda dealer so it would be $37 and I just look at him and said "nah", that not gonna happen. Last time i got my oil changed there, even after he lowered the price, I should never have to put up with that kinda bs.

Just have to know the dealers...because if you have the dealer do it and they f*ck up.....THEY have to fix it for FREE. I can say this because my dad works for Enterprise and if they screw with him, enterprise won't send there cars to them, which there almost at 150,000cars, i think on there service plan....so in other words....they'd be screwed.
^^ exactly.. like the dude above said you can find good mechanics at a ghetto shop but not around here.. ive been to a lot and they all seem like they have no experience.. one guy broke my sideskirt just going up the hoist.. they didnt want to pay for it and we got into a huge fight and i had to call teh cops.. dealer is more like a garantee that everythings gonna be fixed right. im sure people will disagree with that but i find my honda dealer really good.
