Couple pics from the Washington Auto show
Most of them came out blurry or overflashed
Magnum Cop Car, yeah, that thing got a Hemi

Challenger

M landshark- 340 HP, 6 speed, 52K, the M5 is about 80K and the M6 starts at 97K.

Self explanitory

Prius Autocross car

Everyone knows what this is

The new VW FSI 2.0T. I was quite disapointed to see the overintegration of parts. I wish I took a pic in the car. The modability seems near zero. The turbo is low and to the right side, the hot side is cast into the manifold, the cold side is shaped all funny and stuff to clear the wheel well. its quite a tiny turbo and the compressor outlet is about a 1.5 or so inch pancake pipe. Its quite possibly the smallest charge pipe I've ever seen. It feeds a fairly small IC behind the radiator then the TB is dead front and center. There's lots of room in the front for an FMIC, I'm sure someone will come up with a new pipe layout. Right now it just sucks. The airbox looks to be integrated into the engine cover. So you can't pull it off. This thing may produce 8 PSI, but the volume certainly isn't there, so if its making 200 HP, its doing most of it the old fashioned way, so when those VW heads do get cracking on this... look out.

Sticker shock of the day.... 2006 Z06 starts at 64 and change, but the Chevy guy says they're all coming with the optional amenities package (XM, OnStar, heated seats, etc.....) and it ends up around $72K when all is said and done.

the free **** dept. was lacking. I got a poster from Porsche, thats really about it. May get better as the week goes on, just opened today. I think Bow Wow was there today, I didn't care. www.washingtonautoshow.com should have the list of who's where when. I know Clinton Portis is there one day, and Jeff Halpern is there another, I don't know who else is showing up.

Are there any cars worth going to see in person? I remember last years' Porsche Carrera GT was worth it for me. Also i saw the CLS and a couple of good looking Maserati's that didn't look that great in pix, but were stunning in person.
