shaved emblems...now i'm screwed!
well it's simply like this:
i when to the garage, took out my mom's hair dryer, and then i started heating the sucker up, tood the "civic" and the "DX" off, but then the problem came around to haunt me..... it looks like the civic and dx sign are sunburn on my car ....o can still see them both, like a shadow on the car, i tried wd-40, and nail polish remover, and nothing worked....so my car looks like a suntan
plz help me out here, what did i do wrong..or how can i fix this?

that sucks how long did you have the car before you removed them? i think i better get the dealer sticker off my car before that gets the same way, ive had mine for a little over a month now
your DX came with an emblem?? Mine didn't! Do you have the sedan or something?
Btw, your paint probably faded, and of course under the emblems it stayed the same colour....i doubt cleaning agents will do much. Just put em back on so it doesn't look so bad dude...

For the person who has had their car for 5 months:
I've had mine for 5 months too. I took mine off two weeks ago, and it left no marks. Then again, I wash my car every week, so it'll vary...

USE FLOSS to shave the emblems... it can't hurt the car, and all you have to do is scratch off the rest of the adhesive with your fingernail. The CIVIC emblem was easier to remove than the trim emblem.
