goodbye detailing supplies
kit wax, meguiar's plastic polish, no touch glass stripper, mothers billet and mag polish, 2x bottles show car glaze, scratch out, clear coat body scrub, endurance gel, all in the TRASH because the stupid heater furnace decided to stay on for 2 weeks straight while i was gone and turn everything to watery liquid including melting all my candles in the room. Yay! Now i gotta spend over $50 to replace everything.

it sucks well the paint is okay. not the supplies. i opened mothers polish that i just had bought and it looks like some strange butter substance. and all the waxes pour out like water.

No touch auto glass stripper: available at napa auto parts. strips any dirt, tar, silicone, bugs and other contaminants from the glass so that water will sheet off. Useful when prepping glass for rain-x or similar water repellents that bead water and improve visibility.

They're waxes right? So wouldn't they solidify at normal room temp? You probably could have used some of that stuff.... although it probably would have been shaped weirdly.

haha thanks. don't forget to put rainx when you're done using it. read all the directions! or you'll have problems.
okay quick diy. shake product, squirt some on windshield and with a terry cloth or microfiber, work the product onto windshield in circular motions many times with alot of force until contaminants are removed. once thats done, get a new cloth and wipe off residue. when you're done, grab a hose or water bucket and rinse off the windshield. use a squeegee to get all the water off. the windshield is clean. now get some rain-x or rain shield and apply some to the windshield with a new towel just like you did before in circular motions. you don't need to use alot, just enough to cover the glass. then for this one you need to get microfiber towels and BUFF all the product out until the glass is shining and streak free. no water should be used to wipe the product away. once you're done you can test it by spraying water on the windshield and all of it should bead up and roll off the windshield. done yay.

I dont know if it was a joke about paint, but it sure sounds funny.
that has happened to me before as well. a lot of the wax you can just let it solidify again and it can be used. mine turned out the same way just like a litteral drink just pure soupyness. but it did solidfy and it still worked great.

if you want better than rain-x they have diamondite spray coating which is the fluoropolymer they use to treat airplane windshields.i paid $20 tho for a tiny can that you can maybe use a few times. rainx wipes are alot cheaper and easier too. but the diamondite also protects against rock chips and such.
