Painting Stock EX caps...
Alright guys i'm bored, i just cracked my front right cap and bumper in an incident. Someone posted before that on EBAY someone was selling some painted black EX caps...i'm just wondering what the hell did they use? I wanna experiment with those cheap plastic things haha. I have a NBP and maybe spray em black with some 5$ bottle of whatever i need. TIA! LAte
you could probably get your hub caps powercoated black or gunmetal. Not sure where you would do it though. I'm going to say a body shop...maybe. I know trak auto used to do it but they're out of business.
you can't powdercoat plastics! powdercoating requires heating procedure to melt the powder (thus the name--powdercoating), heating those caps will melt them int useless mess...
