Which would you pick and why?
OK, well i got almost 75k on my 04 civic and im looking for a lil change...now if this happens i still want to stick with honda so im looking into..
As for goals...none really. just bolt-ons, and future turbo kit. i want something that performs alot better and that would be funt o drive and idk i just like the older styles better...plus my insurance will be lower with a older car so thats also a plus...
BTw im looking for a completely stock car..no mods at all.

When I look for the car, I go after the "year". Latest possible production year for a particular model (with in my budget). Cause when it comes to resale this what will matter the most. Also, budy is the most expencive thing to fix when its stars aging, e.g 1997 GSR - 8 years old now. Also, younger car will look better and its usualy updated over early examples of the same generation.
Plus, you live in NJ, so car body can become rougth/rusty with age..
I would say go with 2000 si

you are true, i like the style of the 2000 si...its so clean, and they look so sick when they are done nice and not all stupid...
me looks wise im going for a nice set of 16 inch rims, nice beefy tire, a nice set of spring & shocks. plain and simple..
motor wise CAI, Full exhuast, pulleys. start off all motor..then work the motor..turbo cams, nice t3/t4 turbo kit...possibly this kit! http://www.revhard.com/turbokit/civi...el=EK&engine=B

i say go with the GSR or the Type R....
The B16 is a great motor, an handle boost and revs high. but potential wise I think you'd be better off sticking with a b18. I have a buddy who dynoed his 99 Si with intake and exhaust and he dynoed at 120whp and 102lb ft. It was pathetic. But on the other hand a friend with a 92 hatch and an LS/vtec swap (i/h/e vacf) dynoed at 172whp and 139lb ft.
I may be biased, i just love the type r and the torque of a b18. But thats my opinion!

well we will see what the prices are for insuriance next week. img oing to call them and price that out and then most likely if it works out ill be parting some more parts out..to get it as stock as possible..then trade it in for one of the 3...which ever has the better deal for me...im feeling the SI more so, but id like a GSR...type r's are hot as hell but price would be a damper..so we shall see.
I hope I offend you... Get mad

I would say the Si. But my ex had one and it didnt pull as hard os older B16's. Integra type r is a dream. The odd's of you finding one are slim. Plus your gonna pay 10,000 more than a gsr that will pull harder with a set of cams. So My choice is going to be the GSR. It's the easiest to find. Plus if you want a type r that bad, just build the head with oe parts and boom you have one without the price.

For Speed-get an integra and build the engine. For style-get an Si or a type R. For a nice combo (my choice) get a 97 integra and do a JDM front end swap, some nice rims, and add some Type R go fast goodies. The B16 is just better in something a little lighter than a 2600lb Si.

you could get a CRX- they are old and cheap project cars. get a b16 swap. or you could do a k20 swap into it. i mean the CRX would be like 500 bucks. the k20 swap would be like 5k. or you could look into a 240 from nissan. or the old old 300 zx which is turbo. an old del sol with a swap.

yeah i dont want to do any type of swaping...id rather get a car with the power plant already in it...i think the 3 i picked aer plenty good for me..leaning towards the SI...but will see what the insurance comapny tells me next week.
if it were my choice i'd get the GSR cause hella people i know would give me mad **** for having "type R" written on my car. lol besides the GSR is fast enough for me. i'm not worried much with speed.

Man i would say get an EG or EK, just because they are light wieght, cheep then like MajinB was saying do a swap in them. Sept i would recomind a GSR enging and tranny with a B16A2 Head for your future turbo set up. But thats just my $.02
GS-R Sedan, it's a lil' different, compared to the GS-R coupe, Type R or the Si, they have the same body as any regular integra or civic. Also the insurance might be a bit better in the sedan...
