Well, the nice thing about the crossfire is its about 99% mercedes. If youre also looking at a 330i, that would be my choice.

a crossfire isn't that much faster and they have poor handling. The TC would probably be more fun to drive. But if you want looks then go Crossfire

personally, i would rather have a IS300 over those two anyday... or since the IS300 is being replaced, the IS350 wouldn't be bad either. I don't think its too much more than a 330i if at all any more expensive.

2005 330ci is a nice car. I'd personally rather have that than a Crossfire, but I hear the Crossfires are nice cars, too. It seems that their hype has died down, though a lot of TT owners have traded in their TTs with quattro for Crossfires.

slammedSI - what problems did you have?

yes. i personally know people who complain about their freakin bimmers ok? don't get so defensive. i was saying instead of a crossfire he could get a used 230 thats supercharged and convertible for about 20k. relax.

STFU I had a c230 coupe and it's a kompressor not supercharger It was bought back from me cause of all the problems it had.Mercedes hasn't been doing to well on the QUALIY part of things recently. I'd also reccomend the IS350. That is a pretty sweet car.

well merc used to be partly owned by chrysler, so i wouldn't buy anything from them that is more than one or two years old... imo, bimmers > merc

^^compressor or SC = same
"Compressor" is an advertising thing Merc uses.
Bimmer is to complecated in terms of electronics and this is what kiils its "quiality" so to speak. Mechanicaly BMW's are very well put together.
Crossfire is a very very nice looking, but its 2 seater and cramped in space.
If I'd single, I'd take Crossifire.
...Proly insurance chepaer as well.

The current Crossfire is essentially built on and with most parts from the LAST GEN SLK. Just to make sure everyone knows that. The engine is the same supercharged V6 from the last model or the base V6.

Anyway, NAY on the Crossfire, and a maybe but leaning more towards nay on the BMW too. The 2005 is iffy, if you want it, go for it, if you don't than don't.

As with everyone else, the IS350 is going to be awesome with a V8.

they're 2 different cars and impossible to compare.

Ones a sports sedan, more practical. It would be my choice.

Crossfire's a roadster, very quick but more of a weekend car. The good thing about it is that its based on the slk. I test drove it and its a pretty solid car. Its quick around turns and the engine sounds great. Too small for my taste.

Get the IS350 if you want something fast and luxurious at the same time.

stay as far away from a vw product as you can. horrible resale and bad build quality. they do look nice tho. the lexus will outlast all the other cars mentioned

i'd say merc bought chrysler, hence the name, daimler-chrysler.

Merc has also put quite the effort to bring back chrysler into a profit-making division, which is also the reason why Merc quality has slipped a bit.

That is correct there sir. Now they want to do to Merc as they did with Chrysler.
