Crossfire? nay or yay
Crossfire? nay or yay
i just came into some money, and right now i have a TC Tricked out very classy, and hot, But i wanted something faster, and theres a slightly used 2005 Crossfire, with like 800miles on it, Dark Grey, 19's
what do u think of it?
if i dont get this, i might buy a new 330i coupe 2005 pref, havent seen the 06's yet

personally, i would rather have a IS300 over those two anyday... or since the IS300 is being replaced, the IS350 wouldn't be bad either. I don't think its too much more than a 330i if at all any more expensive.

^^compressor or SC = same
"Compressor" is an advertising thing Merc uses.
Bimmer is to complecated in terms of electronics and this is what kiils its "quiality" so to speak. Mechanicaly BMW's are very well put together.
Crossfire is a very very nice looking, but its 2 seater and cramped in space.
If I'd single, I'd take Crossifire.
...Proly insurance chepaer as well.

The current Crossfire is essentially built on and with most parts from the LAST GEN SLK. Just to make sure everyone knows that. The engine is the same supercharged V6 from the last model or the base V6.
Anyway, NAY on the Crossfire, and a maybe but leaning more towards nay on the BMW too. The 2005 is iffy, if you want it, go for it, if you don't than don't.
As with everyone else, the IS350 is going to be awesome with a V8.

they're 2 different cars and impossible to compare.
Ones a sports sedan, more practical. It would be my choice.
Crossfire's a roadster, very quick but more of a weekend car. The good thing about it is that its based on the slk. I test drove it and its a pretty solid car. Its quick around turns and the engine sounds great. Too small for my taste.
Get the IS350 if you want something fast and luxurious at the same time.

Merc has also put quite the effort to bring back chrysler into a profit-making division, which is also the reason why Merc quality has slipped a bit.
