maintenance light on at 11K

maintenance light on at 11K
hey guys just noticed that when i start my engine, the maintenance light flashes for about 5-8 secs. My car has 11,000 miles on it. Does the light just come on automatically around this time??

yeah sometimes it does. take it to a dealership for scheduled maintenence and they will reset it when done

Read the manual. They gave you one for a reason. There also is a big thread somewhere on this forum if you search for it.
