New Buick Grand National Twin Turbo
This is a GTO, it even says it will be made in Australia at the Holden plant. If they are gonna twin turbo anything it should just be an LS2 in there instead of a V6, and it better not be the 3800 v6. However I bet this all goes away after this year since the GTO/Monaro are done after 06. However a new GTO is expected in 08 or 09 hopefully!

That day came and left already. Are you guys are all forgeting what the Grand National was? Mid-late 80's 3.8L V6 turbo 245 hp and 335 ft-lb torque (those where BIG numbers in the 80's). No it wasn't AWD, but it was turbo with lots of torque. And a turbo done right can make a ton of torque, look at diesel engines.
Google the Grand National, you'll see what why it would be a turbo V6, it's a Buick Regal Gand National BTW.
The only thing I don't like is twin turbo, why twin turbo? Twin turbos are more or less useless with modern turbo's. But it will never happen, so who cares.

Doesn't surprise me, not many Gand Nationals where made, it was one of those cars where they made enough to race them and that's it, so like 500 units year or something, so they are a rare car to see. So most people have idea what Grand National means, which is another reason why that car would probably never make it. You can't go sell a remake of a historic car if not many know the history.

The Grand National was a very fast car for what it was. GM is finally doing what they should have done a long time ago and really separated their brands. They did have it confusing by giving Buick some hi-perf. stuff, like the GN. Finally they made it so Cadillac is the extreme lux, Buick is lux, chevy is considered the consumer brand, gmc is all trucks, and pontiac is going for performance.
What they need to do is bring the Judge back to the GTO name. There was talk a while ago when the GTO first came back out that they were going to do the Judge version, its too bad it never happened...yet. Hopefully in the redesign it will.

PONTIAC GTO and FORD GT(gt40) - These 2 cars are not sold in Canada and cant be imported to Canada as well. Will have to wait for until car becomes 15 years old, so a canadian could buy one.
Somewhat US carnuts are lucky, but in Canada we have Acura CSX!
